We are a Yoga centre, we accommodate people to learn and train as yoga teachers and also run regular classes for the community.

Usually we have 3-5 regular classes throughout the week and most weekends we have students come to stay from all over the UK to train as teachers or do other short courses with us.

We do promote healthy living therefore we cannot accept smokers or allow any alcohol consumption on the premises, food with be veggie or vegan.

The work can range from help with cleaning the centre, help with cooking, help with the kids, gardening or whatever your skill area is. You will also be able to join in some of the yoga classes.

We have some lovely experiences with helpers from all around the world and if you want to learn about Authentic classical Yoga then we are the place for you!

We are ready to welcome you into our Yoga family!

Look forward too hearing from you.

Om shanti :-)

Come and enjoy a peaceful rural retreat in our painted caravan ( see photo) it is very simple with just a bed and a little woodburner. We live on a South facing smallholding 1400' high in the Welsh Cambrian mountains, we also have a bell tent ( see photo) to stay in during the summer months up on the terraces if you prefer more privacy or if there are more people staying. The caravan sleeps one person or a couple (one double bed) We now have another caravan with a double bed which hasn't yet been painted or converted, it still has gas heating and an electric light.
Washing facilities are in our family house and there is a separate toilet ( flushed using a bucket of water) in the studio. We cook in the kitchen in our family house, and eat communally, we are also building an outside kitchen. We eat together outside mostly in the summer and in the family house when it's colder.
We are looking for people to stay here on a short term basis who want to be outside in nature and want the... more inside

We (Pete and Sophia) moved to the Welsh Borders in February 2017. Having spent a couple of years travelling in our campervan, HelpXing and living in the Alps. It felt like the time to put down some roots & begin a new adventure. We are both 33 & have a young energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, called Juno. We are looking for liberal-minded people with a 'can do' disposition to help alongside us and share wine/beer by a fire some evenings. We see this as a great opportunity to meet new people & we loved our time HelpX-ing. We want you (anyone volunteering with us) to have a great time & we'll do all we can to make sure you're happy and have things to do that you enjoy.

This place, our new home, consists of 10 acres of woods; a crazily overgrown garden; a pond; a timber frame house (which we are living in and renovating); plus a little woodland cabin (featured in the pictures below).

We are looking for volunteers to help us get to grips with the woodland and garden from Septe... more inside

Having successfully run the highly acclaimed Primrose Organics for 30 years and the Primrose Earth Awareness Trust for 15 years Paul Benham now runs Primrose Haven Retreats at the Haven. We encourage a deep respect and connection with the land and nature and run sound healing workshops. This is a very special piece of land on 1.5 ha and has beautiful gardens and many interesting and sacred spaces including, a willow labyrinth, a large sacred geometry form, a celtic roundhouse, a stone circle a sound/peace chamber, a sacred grove of trees and examples of permaculture and organics. We have 3 Shepherd Huts and Yurts and Bell tents for accommodation and help is required to prepare these for courses and to maintain the beautiful gardens and sacred spaces and organic vegetable gardens. Also this year we are running "Work, Rest, Sound and Song Experience Weeks" and these are highly affordable.Check out " Juicy Juicy " 2nd-7th October.

We are a 116 acre family farm that always extends a warm welcome to those who join us on the land. We try our best to live a sustainable life and so as well as producing a lot of our own food we also produce wind, solar and biofuel energy. We will provide HelpXers with contact to a wide variety of working initiatives in horticulture, agriculture and renewable energy. Help is primarily needed with a developing market garden on the farm, so HelpXers can expect a lot of plant establishment, tending and land work. If HelpXers would like to help out occasionally with the farm's small flock of sheep and vehicle biofuel business then there will possibilities there also. Sometimes it is hard to predict what will be the priority job of the day however any one around when the hay comes in is sure to get involved there. We are looking for HelpXers to come for a minimum of two weeks. Separate accommodation is provided for HelpXers in a comfortable, static caravan which among other amenities ... more inside

Ideally we are looking for a handy person to help in our wood work shop and to help on our small farm. We run a small business called Free Range Designs, that makes furniture and we are looking for somebody with carpentry experience to help us with some woodworking projects. Our woodwork shop is 10 minutes walk from our small farm where we keep animals(chickens, ducks, goats and horses) and grow vegetables.

We would like to get help building a Shepherds hut / Gypsy Caravan out of wood that will be used for guests and helpers. We are also building a wooden greenhouse and a sauna with a hot tub. All of these are going to be available to future helpers.
`
Accommodation is in a tidy caravan on the farm with a kitchen, Wifi, toilet facilities and a small wood burning stove. There is also a spare room in the house if this is preferred and if it does get too cold. We encourage helpers to live with us in the house but sometime it is nice to have a self contained caravan to go to if yo... more inside

This farm is a 43 acre site. Mostly ancient woodland in the most beautiful little valley south of Brechfa. The cothi valley. There's a roundhouse, yurt, tipis, sauna, compost toilet, natural springs, woodsheds, geodesic dome greenhouse, 500+ soft fruit bushes and young forest garden.
I'm looking for help in building structures, planting more fruit and nut trees and herbs, gathering berries, making medicine/tinctures from the plants etc.

We are one of four new eco smallholdings which gained planning permission in 2016 under the new One Planet Development planning policy. We are currently in the process of building our off-grid family home. The planning permission requires that the house is “zero carbon in construction and use” and uses local, natural materials.

Our house is a two story roundwood timber frame, with straw bale infill walls and lime render.

We also have two acres of apple orchard, keep bees for pollination and honey, and will grow much of own food.

Visitors can expect to be involved in building work (lime rendering, clay plastering, carpentry...), beekeeping, orchard management and gardening. Our immediate three neighbours in this new eco-village are similarly self-building homes from predominately natural materials and we are part of a wider low-impact community in West Wales.

After 9 years in SW France we returned to Britain and bought and renovated a pub with 2 B&B rooms in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Near Crickhowell.

We have 1 full time member of staff and we both work full time but still need help with lots of things.
On busy days in the pub, waiting tables and helping in the kitchen and with the B&B rooms. Tips are shared equally between our staff and volunteers

There are also outside jobs. lots of painting and some gardening.
We also have a 3 bedroom cottage (next to the pub) for volunteers to live in, this also requires renovation, painting and DIY.

We will provide your food but we are both working lunchtime and evening, so you may have to cook your own meals. in return for working approx 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We have superfast broadband, TV and books and films to borrow. We have 2 labradors.

We live in a beautiful location, 4 miles from Crickhowell. Abergavenny is our nearest train station, there are bus stations i... more inside
