hi! I need help with some computer projects on a Mac OS 10.6.8 like website updating and maintenance and possibly video editing (promoting planet awareness through NatureArt) and also landscaping and maintenance jobs on the land and in the Magic Forest, making firewood and building jobs. I am a musician who gives drumming lessons and workshops in the community + sound healing sessions. I manage an environmental project on the beautiful land of an old farm with stone walls surrounded by local + exotic trees and plants. There is also a Magic Forest (with special spaces with sculptures)and a holy well. There are dogs, cats and a pony. The area is remote + beautiful. It is 7km to Ballydehob, the next village. There is only limited WiFi here. Musicians + film makers are very welcome, but not a necessary condition. I live with my children in an old cottage. Volunteers stay in the house or a caravan. Work is done according priority. Volunteers are expected to be sociable and self-responsib... more inside

Hi!

Maybe someone is interested in a short 2/3 week stay for Christmas?

Our superstar helper will be travelling for the holidays and we have a free room... Love to hear from you all!

We are a fun loving family in Ireland and we love having company and friends to stay. We have had Au Pairs, students etc through the years and have had only wonderful experiences.

We have 3 children, Emily 7, Marcella 5 and Eddie 3. We are looking for someone who could give us a dig out with general house duties, animals and looking after our kids.

The exchange is 20 hours per week, any additional hours, if it suits you to do them, we will pay you for.

We get away most weekends to places of local interest, Glendalough, Castlecomer, the beach etc so it will be an opportunity for you to explore local attractions.

We can send you references from previous au pairs if you want to get an idea of family life with us. We have maintained a great relationship with all of them and keep in... more inside

I'm Elizabeth and recently I have had some helpX-ers working with me in restoring the gardens, back and front. I now need one person with construction experience in either or both woodwork and in building small walls.
Current needs are:
(1) building small walls around raised beds.
(3) there is also some garden maintenance needed including some lifting/carrying soil
Let me know which of these tasks you are interested in helping with.
(4)In bad weather I will ask you to help within the house.

The accommodation I offer is a room, with internet, and I would like you to work an average of 4 hours a day (28 hours over the week) Since some work is outdoors I need a person who is flexible depending on the weather. My helper will have taken English lessons and will have experience in understanding and speaking simple English. Please let me know how long you attended classes.
I will provide your food, but since I am a notoriously poor cook, I will ask you to cook for yourself. I do... more inside

....We live in an old farmhouse, which is under continuing renovation, We have a small farm, with beef cows,pigs,chickens,ducks,3 large dogs and 5 cats.We try to grow seasonal vegetables ,and meals are cooked from scratch wherever possible. We live 3 miles from the nearest village, and are 1 mile from the sea.
We are easy going and quite laid back (most of the time !!) but after a busy day,we prefer quiet evenings at home .
We are renovating our farmhouse very slowly and also hope to make a new garden in 2019 .....so maybe your skills can help us reach our goals? It is a simple life, with no TV but we do have Netflix and lots of DVD's!!
We have 2 comfortable beds in the spare room with DVD/VCR .this would be shared with another volunteer. We all share the bathroom.
Someone with good English and common sense would be preferred , and a genuine interest in farming, animals and gardening would also be useful. As would a good sense of humour!!
Volunteers help in all aspects of the day ... more inside

Thank you for taking some time to read our profile!

Since 2012, hundreds of wonderful people from all over the world have volunteered with us. We are very grateful for all they do. Some come for two weeks; most come for two or three months and some stay for a year! Others come back for a second, third or even fourth visit. It`s best if people come for at least 2 months. This gives time to settle in and experience a lot more.

We live in a small, traditional west of Ireland village which has a theatre, sculpture centre, nice pubs and lots of sports clubs. There are lots of hill walks and outdoor activities nearby and we are a 30 minute drive from the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby are three larger towns with public transport (train or bus) to Dublin, Belfast, Londonderry and Galway. The closest airport is 1 hour away, with flights from Britain and Europe.

I enjoy nature, people, animals, theatre, music, arts, community interests, as well as history, politics, peace studies and fai... more inside
