HAY!

! UPDATE - got some helpers in novermber so it's fully booked for now!

I'm Christophe! I got a regular Belgia house in Halle, south of brussels, let's say 15 by train from Brussels center. There's the garden (50 x 5m) to take care of and the house who needs a good refresh! Most jobs in wintertime will be inside. Summertimes rather invites to do the outside jobs of course

Outside it's all organic & ' starting' permaculture so jobs like trimming weed, seeding, harvesting, composting etc are quiet common. I try to be self-sufficient for veggies as much as possible, still a beginning so... it could be also possible you need be make jams or so but let your immagination go I would say! Also I plan to make a Finnish sauna outside and maybe later a bigger pool with local vegetation & maybe more other thing , all depending... on your / my creativity at that time

Inside it's a renovation story, painting, carpeting, stukadoor etc expierence are really welcome, no more scary jobs... more inside

Hello helpers,

I am looking for someone who can help me with our bed and breakfast in center of Brussels while we are gone for holidays. All you need to do is keep the bed and breakfast clean, receive the guests, tell them the directions and informations of our city, provide recommendations of activities or restaurants. In general, you will still have a lot of free times here so that you can explore the city or maybe learn French. :)

Please write me an email if you are interested. :)
Cheers from Belgium.
Albee

I'm Antje, a sort of modern beguine ;-) I live in the oldest city of Belgium, build by the Romans. I bought my house nearly four years ago, a beautiful, big house in the Convent.

The Convent is included in the list of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO, and my house is a listed building.
At this time all the wooden windows need a new coat of paint, so I am looking for a brave guy who is not afraid to climb on a roof.. It's a big house and the windows are not in such a good conditions, so you will have some work to do..

The square in front of my house is very cozy and I really like that it is in the center so that I can go anywhere on foot, the cafes on the Grand Place to the corner :-)

I'm self-employed for years, I've been a dog groomer, now I breed Chihuahua's and Pug's. I also organize New Age parties, I help in a very nice cafe next to my house and so do all at once!

I live 'alone' with my dogs and birds. My kids live here 1 week, and the other... more inside

I live in a house on the country, very peaceful and quietly, with my three daughters (11,9 and 7 years) and we could use some help in the house (housekeeping and little jobs like painting, ...) and/or outside the house (gardening, little jobs like carpenting ...). It would also be nice to practice my english and I want to bring the world into our house for my children... We live in the region of world war I (ypres, poperinge, Passendale, ...) and this year, there are a lot of things to do to remember it. The coast is about 50kms from here and you are in Brussels in two hours with the train.

We are a very small festival in Lichtervelde. It's organized by two young guys together with a lot of friends and family. This year the festival takes place on 6th September.

Last year was our first edition and we had around 300 visitors which was a great success!
We are a festival that wants to be small and cheap. Profit is not our goal. We find it very important to be sustainable and so we only sell fair-trade products and vegetarian food for our visitors.

We are looking for volunteers who want to be creative and want to help before and during the festival. We need help building a treehouse, building the stage, putting up tents, building some cool decors and so on... Any ideas at the place are very welcome! We have a lot of materials at the farm to build stuff with, but we also have a certain budget for decorations, so if you feel like helping on a small festival and use your creativity, come and join us :)

Of course you will have enough time during the festival to en... more inside

Hi! We're Stijn and Diana, a Belgian/German couple in our 30s. We are now the proud owners of a cute little house in the center of Antwerp, but it needs a bit of TLC.
We're looking for a handy person (or a couple) who enjoys getting their hands dirty to help us with the renovation of the house. Plenty of stuff needs to be done: Painting inside and outside, the garden needs to be layed out, a shed has to be build, some rooms need renovation,...
Experience in doing those jobs would be great.
We offer a room in our house in the city center and food on the days you work for us - including Belgian beer and chocolates :-)
We're very flexible about length of stay, but a minimum of one week or 10 days makes sense to actually get things done.
Our first baby is due in July, so we want to get most of the work done in April/May 2014 and are looking for people for those months in particular.

No stays possible from mid June to end of August

We speak English, Dutch, German, Spanish an... more inside

Our house lies in the suburbs of the university city Ghent. 100 m walking distance of public transportation that brings you within 15 minutes to the historical center. Ghent has a lot to of offer and Belgium is a small country with fast trains connections (when on time ...)

We are a family of 4: Will (explosives expert), An (midwife and social worker), Lukas 6 year and Max, 2,5 year very lively and curious boys. We eat bio, not veggie but menus can be adapted to your likes. We have a lodging room with a double bed.

We live in a townhouse with a nice garden in a quiet neighbourhood. We just renovated our house and need now somebody with painting skills (skirtingboards, ceiling). We also need help in the garden (cutting grass, weeding, painting fences, cleaning animal cages)
Our kids will love to assist you so you need to have steel nerves ...
Being good with kids is a necessity. No constant entertainment is needed but if you can play a game with them for 10 minutes you are t... more inside
