We have several stores located in the University District. We are looking for help renovating and restoring in particular two of them. One is to be converted into a community coffeehouse and the other we would like to become an awesome music venue.

We are open to help with all of the following: roofing, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Enthusiasm and passion for this new Detroit is very much welcome. We are super excited to live and work here: this city is changing every day for the better!

In exchange for your energy and time we are happy to provide food (or food stipend) and accommodation in our home. Our house is located a couple of blocks away from the commercial properties. Use of a car part time included if necessary.

Thanks!

This is a non-profit organization and an intentional community located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Volunteers and community staff work together to support the school’s programs and to maintain an ecological and sustainable community based on walking in balance with the earth and self.

We are looking for short-term (1-4 weeks) or long-term (1-3 months) volunteers to assist with carpentry and/or editing projects for the school in exchange for rustic living accommodations, an organic Paleo based diet with free range meat/fish, internet, and shared vehicle use.

We are a permaculture farm with Chinese chestnuts, elderberries, honeybees, asparagus and fruit trees. A 1/4-acre no-till vegetable garden is in operation and we will build a Walipini to support year-round garden activities.

We have approximately 150 open-pastured laying hens whom we slaughter for meat at the end of their productive lives. We raise ducks and geese primarily to sell their eggs at market. We have 3 dairy goats and will expand the herd for milk/cheese sales. There is a small pond and approximately 2 acres in woods.

We have 3 pleasure horses on the property whom we rarely get to ride but would like to start again.

We are a family of five looking for someone to help us with our three kids Matthew (11), Emma (8) and Kate (4) for short period of times.
We also have a beagle called Lissa that's very friendly.
My husband and I are normally very busy but we can manage well with the family routines.

It's in these occassions that we woud appreciate some help like picking the kids from school and spending time with them until we come home.
Mostly we want our children to be with people from all aorund the world who can provide culture and a new experience to them.

We live in a small town 70 km. away from Barcelona and we love having people.

We are looking for someone to speak english to the children. They already know the language as my husband is from UK but they usually speak catalan/spanish except when Nick is with us.

This is a relaxed, creative, inclusive space for people looking to learn more about living off the land or just spend some time travelling and working.

For those looking for a gardening, food production and sustainable-living education - we are for you. We aren't a commercial production operation (only about 1 acre cultivated), so we've got the time to let you explore your interests and teach you what we know. We encourage enterprising and thoughtful people to contribute to our work here in a way that is unique among many farms.

For those of you looking to travel, we offer relatively relaxing and self-paced work schedules, and attempt to align your work with your interests/preferences.

We do not ask that anyone have previous experience, just a willingness to do a wide array chores for 35 hours a week. Chores include mostly gardening, but also food preparation and preservation, building up-keep and wood chopping and stacking. We welcome volunteers to stay from 5 days (usu... more inside

I live in a single-family home, built - at least in part - in 1874 in an old, working-class neighborhood of the capital city of Minnesota. Saint Paul and Minneapolis together are called the Twin Cities, here in the Midwest, and are home to a bustling, vibrant cultural mix of people and arts. There are bikeable streets and bicycle trails, and plently of trees and parks.

I have been trying for years to make my home more livable, and have poured time and money into it, so that now I have very little money left to invest, and I really don't want to invest ALL my time into it, but I have begun renting out two sleeping spaces through Airbnb, and I really need someone or a couple to help with dozens of improvement projects - a number of which are simply to bring the living spaces up to code.

The living space for helpers may vary according to whether I have paying guests or not at a particular time.

I am looking for people who want to enjoy the city and this area of the state of ... more inside

We are looking for volunteers to help establish what will be known as The Gentle Healing Place ~ A metaphysical retreat in the Ozarks. The property is a Bed and Breakfast that sits on a ridge that overlooks the White River Valley Wildlife Refuge, four miles west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas on Scenic Highway 62. The town is known for it's Metaphysical and Artist community. There is fishing, lakes and rivers within a few miles of the property. The town was built in the late 1800's, early 1900's and attracts Tourist Trade, known for it's Victorian architecture and natural beautiful scenery.
At this time we are looking for people that are good at working the land, taming it, tree trimming and clearing. Much of the property (4 acres)is on a terraced hillside. These hills grow lots of wild vegetation and at times seems like a jungle. We need some major trimming and landscaping. This can be hard physical work, so we need people that are able to do the labor and enjoy working the lan... more inside
