I am an active 59 year old, soon to be a granny, women living on and running a farm in conversion to organic status. I have sheep, poultry, retired horses, a donkey, cats, dogs and forestry. I love my home, it is a fairly big old house up a long avenue 10km from the nearest reasonable town. My adult children are here intermittently, a neighbour works 2 days a week, which is not enough to get all the work done, hence I welcome your assistance. I am trying to run courses and a B and B for humans and horses.

What I am looking for is someone who understands the demands and joys of country living, someone who can see what needs doing and either gets on and does it or doesn't take offense if I don't agree with the project. I would be particularly happy for help in the office

I am looking for someone to help in the following areas:
Help with Computers / internet,
Helping with Tourists,
Animal care,
Help in the house,
Help with Eco project,
Farming,
General Maintenance,
Cookin... more inside

this is a 3 acre plot of land in rural ireland one of the most beautiful parts of the country you could ever see.there are four different houses on the land so there is plenty of room to sleep.there is always ongoing work on the land between helping in the garden to projects on the house, chooping wood and looking after children.i have one four year old and a thirteen year old.there is a river running through the land with pristine drinking water and a pool for swimming.there is a polytunnel for vegetables as well as beds outside all organic. there is also a balcony with a hot tube on it. there a many great hiking trails as the land is in the mountains but still only thirty minutes drive from the beautiful west cork coastline. we eat really well and always have loads of people around.my husband is really interested in fishing and might take you out if your interested
hope to see you soon selena and jason

Ours is a peaceful natural place where we grow vegetables, fruit, lots of culinary and medicinal herbs. We have a polytunnel and chickens and bees, 2 dogs. There are water gardens here too. At the moment we are trying to develop the garden into something special and would love to get help with all the projects. Can happily be vegatarian during your stay. There is a wood burning stove in the volunteer accomodation so although it is old, it can be warm and cosy in this unpredictable climate. We would be delighted to have a few helping hands around.

We live in walking distance to the village of Tuamgraney, close to Lough Derg and Raheen Woods on 6 acres of certified organic land and grow many different herbs from which we make over 70 herbal products including Herbal Teas, Bath Milks, Creams, Ointments, Oils, Elixirs and Tinctures. We also grow a good variety of vegetables and fruits in two big polytunnels, outdoors in fields and around the apple orchard. We sell all products in the Limerick and Killaloe Markets every weekend.

We run a small family owned hostel on Tory Island, an island off the north west coast of Donegal. We are offering self contained accommodation in exchange for assisting us in managing the hostel on a day to day basis. Volunteers would need to be comfortable mixing with all nationalities and types of guests within a hostel type environment. As you would be mixing and possibly dealing with guests a reasonable level of english would be needed. Tory Island is a lovely island, access to the mainland is good, and during the Summer months volunteers are guaranteed the unique irish atmosphere that Tory generates.
