We live on a beautiful, sunny property in the Dandenong Ranges, less than one hour East of Melbourne city centre.

We are very close to public transport. The bus stop is 50 metres walk from our house.
Helpers have their own room in the house with Queen sized bed.

We are a short distance to: Yarra Valley wineries, Dandenong Ranges National Parks, cafes, galleries, artisan bakeries, beaches , ski resorts (3+ hours), country, museums, hiking and mountain biking trails (on our doorstep), public gardens.

There is also a brilliant yoga studio nearby which has several classes a week.

We love to have Helpers stay from all cultures and help us maintain and beautify our house and garden.
We speak French at home to our child sometimes and encourage fellow French speakers.
We have a dog too. Helpers who love animals wll love her.

We enjoy sometimes getting time to show our guests around the local areas or taking them collecting pure spring water at nearby Mount Donna Bua... more inside

Hello, I have a spare bed and love to cook. I'm renovating my home and garden and preparing to move house. Can offer three meals a day in exchange for four hours work a day; that would include deep cleaning and gardening for up to one week.
I have two medium/large dogs who are in the house. they are very friendly but you must be very comfortable with being in close proximity with dogs.
Prefer to support someone whose income has been wiped out by corona shutdown. Given covid situation i will insist on physical distance, no visitors and for you to keep close to home reducing external contact and covid risk.

Our concern about the situation of international travelers during the CoVid19 pandemic promoted us to open our home and property to guest helpers. This opportunity would best suit couples or 2 singles. This house is a great house in summer with the pool and garden BBQ but in winter this area is cold, wet and often foggy so this weather may not suit people looking for a great outdoors experience.
We live on a small hobby farm which we share with some rescue animals, chooks, guinea fowl, goldfish, 2 dogs and an old horse. Glenlyon is located a 10 minutes drive from picturesque Daylesford. , the spa capital of Victoria. There are many things to see and do in my area that are not available in Melbourne, Lots of kangaroos and other wildlife and nature walks for hiking.
Unfortunately there is no public transport here so it would help if you have a car. Or I can pick you up from the closest railway station or the airport. However with the home isolation laws and travel bans in plac... more inside

We live in a wilderness retreat in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, by the Tambo River along the Great Alpine Road.

We offer accommodation in a either a cosy bedroom or a vintage caravan, inside the shed. The shed has a wood fire and is a short walk from the house. We share our meals together and make our guests feel at home in our house.

We provide great food and campfire cooking - a genuine Australian bush experience - in exchange for 4-5 hours work a day, helping with building, bush regeneration and landscaping.

At the moment we are completing building and bush regeneration work, so ideally need people who have experience in building, landscaping or gardening, and are willing to undertake physical work. We have been affected by the recent bushfires so there is a lot of regeneration work we need to do.

Tracey is an artist and sometimes needs help with art projects, see her website link above.

We are looking for people who want a genuine bush experience in a wil... more inside

Ken, Robyn & Barbara (Robyn's sister) would like to welcome you to our place in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, about 50 minutes east of Melbourne CBD

Winter in the Dandenong Ranges - chilly! Good weather to rug up well & visit our cool ferny parks & gardens.......and, if its not too wet, work in our big garden!

Please read our profile carefully - see what we provide in exchange for 3 hours work per day, weekends off!! Our place is ideal for a single helper or a couple - not two friends as we have a double bed only.

There is always work to be done in the garden here, getting rid of leaf litter & bark, raking & sweeping, and pruning some bushes & trees, so this is a good place to be if you like being outdoors.

We also have lots of small maintenance jobs to do - painting windowsills, small repairs to steps, etc. Plus some indoor jobs such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming etc.

We really appreciate accommodating helpers with some skills &/or expe... more inside

Hey good people
About 6 years ago, after living in various dynamic communities around the world and following my creative dreams, I returned to my childhood frm which has been in my family since 1948
It was a working sheep farm and mix farming or lamb, wool and grain.

Im in the process of converting the bigger agricultural sheds into usable spaces for yoga and other aligned retreats. Ive been planting a big vegetable patch, raising laying hens and collecting fire wood from fallen trees on the land.
My dream is to host small meaningful festivals, and over time to re wild the land with native bush land and tradition indigenous food and leave the land better than I found it .

I am looking for hard working and capable people to enjoy their time working on various building, painting and gardening jobs.
The work exchange is 5 hours a day, basically morning through til lunch time and you will have the afternoon free to explore more or just relax.
The exchange is 3 meals a day... more inside
