I'm a beekeeper that works between Cairns and Cooktown.

I live in Cow Bay, but travel often so plenty of opptunities to see new places.

This time of year my work is situated north of cairns so there plenty opportunity to explore north were not alot of tourist go.

The work involves collecting bee hives fodr honey extraction and queen bee rearing this gives us plenty of time to explore the local areas. Making bee hives is another job in Bloomfield which is situated 35 km north of Cape Tribulation 500m from the Weary Bay Beach and a few kilometers from the Bloomfield River. In spare time we like to show guest the Bloomfield River and it Crocodile population.

Task also involve house work and gardening.

This time of year is great for swimming and crocodile spotting.

The work is not hard, suits male or females and is always varied, recreational activities after work as swimming, hanging out at the beach, camping, crocodile spotting and reef trips.

We have only been back on the family farm about a year so we are still settling in to our new home (but an old house) and the garden is still a big work in progress. Aggie could use some help around the home and with our active 4 year old as we also have a little girl who will be one in May so life is extra busy! We have spent the last few years in lots of places - Scotland/UK, Europe, Kununurra, Broome, Charleville, so we are looking forward to settling down a little but want to have some travel experience by having travellers come to us!

The farm has been in the family for 100 years and currently supports 4 families, this includes 3 generations with grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and 2 very busy 4 year olds and 2 toddlers!

We have lots of work to do in the garden as the goal is to be self sufficient in a few years time! We also have plans involving some tourism ventures in the future so there is lots to keep busy with!

In exchange for your labour you will be hosted with e... more inside

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl, and live in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. My husband PJ is a lawyer and I am a currently working on my Psychology degree.

Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom house with a large yard about 30 minutes north of Brisbane CBD and 30 minutes from the airport. I have recently started a small vegetable patch and would love to expand it and grow our own veggies

We are looking for help with day to day household chores including cooking, cleaning, light gardening and childminding. We will tailor the work to suit what you are good at and the hours are flexible. Would suit someone after work that is not too strenuous, the most important thing is that you are patient and willing to help where needed, it also helps if you are a morning person because the kids wake up very early! A good sense of humor is also essential with the kids! The work is a max of 4 hours a day 5 days a week.

You will have your own room with a ... more inside

Update...27/07/2020....I am presently hosting for a few weeks......I HAVE A PREFERENCE FOR CARPENTER OR SKILLED HANDYPERSON.

Okay...I am ready to start again in a more low key aspect. So lets get going together.

Big house, lots of stuff everywhere. The house is still under renovations so there is stuff around pertaining to those renovations.

I am seeking practical minded experienced people with an idea how to do renovation /repairs/ maintenance......It is time to start some major projects such as bathrooms etc. This is now the time to re-organise everything back into some sort of order. There is stuff everywhere in a very bad order. So time to make tidy. There is still the topcoat of interior painting to be done. Sanding of doors and varnishing. And a myriad of renovating jobs to be done.

Even basic skills in carpentry, woodworking, sanding and painting, general repairing. I can advise how to do things, but I need to have people who have good common sens... more inside
