We would love to hear from anyone interested in helping on our 60ha/150 acre Certified Organic family farm. Accommodation is in an adjacent self-contained cottage so we can cater for those who have travelled and who will require to self-isolate. We are located 100 kms west of Cairns and grow tea tree, limes & various vegetable crops. A large fire back in late 2019 caused a lot of damage and we are slowly getting back up on our feet and finally the farm is looking green again after recent rain.
Work mainly includes, fruit picking, mulching, weeding, gardening, fencing and irrigation repairs. We also hope to start repairs and renovation to the cottage and harvesting/distilling of Tea Tree Oil.
During these times of self-isolation our farm also offers plenty of space to exercise, walk, relax and swim or fish in our very own large dam. Buses from Cairns to Mareeba daily. ONLY Optus & Vodaphone reception so be prepared for limited connections and communication disruptions. S... more inside

Julatten is renowned amongst bird-watchers worldwide and in particular for Mt Lewis National Park where all 13 Wet Tropics endemic bird species can be found. Taking Mt Molloy township as a central point, there is just over 300 bird species including all 13 Wet Tropics endemics have been recorded within a 15km radius of the town. No other region in Australia can boast this, not even Kakadu!

This is a small rural property opposite the birdwatchers lodge.
Port Douglas is 45 min away, Mossman with its famous Mossman Gorge 30 min.

I am in a 2 bedroom cottage that is over 100 years old. It is mostly renovated and with 2 verandahs relatively spacious but also intimate.

Spring cleaning, handy person projects, plenty of work at our shabby chic but comfortable rambling home in its permaculture garden on the beautiful red soils of Lamb Island. The island is very quiet and a small community. We expect our helpers to work in the mornings, help cook the evening meal and fit in with our neighbours' early nights. Otherwise there is plenty of island to explore, and free travel between our group of four.

Looking for one or two people for minimum 2 nights but maximum 3 nights. Longer stays possible if we all get on, including Cam the rescue greyhound. We are experienced home stay carers, Airbnb hosts etc and can offer individual lessons in English, boat operation and driving for a price. Islands offer mostly natural beauties, curlews and mangroves. We have bikes you are welcome to use.

Plans for this year mostly planting out new areas, re-vegetating.

Looking for help now in 2020. We have a property in Brisbane and also one out in western QLD that is a sheep and cattle farm.

We are a young family with three children 13, 11 and 8. We live in the beautiful suburb of Brookfield right on the edge of a national park with riding trails and walks surrounding us. We have ten acres with a pool, dam, campfire and viewing deck for you to enjoy. Two horses, two cows, a dog and a cat not to mention all the other native wildlife are also there for your enjoyment.

We welcome young traveller's looking to stop and stay for a week or two and help around the house and property. You have your own separate accommodation external to the main house however kitchen and toilets are a part of the main house. Having your own transport is an advantage as we are a few kilometers to the local shop however not a necessity. Generally we are happy to help with transport.

Non Smokers only please.

Our property, known as Pomona Springs is set in the tranquil rain forest countryside known as Pomona. We are nestled only 20 minutes from Noosa and the wonderful beaches with some of the best views, walking tracks, and mountains to climb in the region . Our property is a relaxed environment with various activities that requires daily/weekly attention. From feeding the geese and horses each day to gardening and pruning and maybe a swim after a days work.
We do not have any children to look after! Ideally we would prefer people with travelling partners (Friends or couples, ) as we feel that they are better suited to our type of place and keep each other company.(We would also like that at least one can understand and speak some basic English). Please note, email us your HelpX details before calling.
But lets not forget our motto:
Eat when you are Hungry,
Sleep when you are tired and
Drink when you are thirsty!
We hope to hear from you soon !
