Hi there potential HelpX people,

*************************************************
I am actively looking for helpers for a few days from the 10th of October and also in late October (between the 22nd and the 31st (just not 26/27/28 as I am away then). I also have a few dates in December between 10th and 15th. If these work for you then get in touch
*************************************************

I only accommodate people for 2 - 4 nights in exchange for light work around the garden/house/pool etc and of course you get your own room and I supply all meals except for one where I ask that my guests prepare a "typical" meal from whereever they are from. The main reason for the limit of nights is that I now run my own adventure tour company and also do 4*4 tours and training. Nothing better than sleeping under the stars beside a fire after a good meal and a glass of wine.

The house is located only 8km from the city centre with a bus stop about 200m from the front door. Yo... more inside

I live in a large family home with my 21 year old son on a beautiful outer suburban property by a creek. On our doorstep are beautiful wildflower walk trails (and kangaroos!:) in Mundy Regional Park and Lesmurdie Falls National Park. Kanyana Wildlife sanctuary is nearby.
We have a large garden that needs lots of work. I have an art studio where I conduct art classes for children. The home is located in the Perth hills about 30 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes to the airport. The accommodation is a large bedroom in our house suitable for a couple. The room has its own entrance door onto the surrounding deck. There is a shared bathroom and a large family kitchen.
I would need 15 hours help from each person for one week accommodation. Additional hours would be negotiated depending on the food/meals required. Full board, that is accommodation and three meals each day would require 4 hours work each day for 6 days. The help I need is mostly general gardening and some s... more inside

Our property is half jarrah forest and half orchard/vegetable garden.

The forest has an amazing variety of wildflowers and native animals. The orchard includes pears, apples, plums, apricots, kiwi fruit, boysenberries, oranges and pomegranates. We also grow some Australian native foods for example macadamias, native spices, native spinach and native root vegetables.

We have chickens, ducks, geese, as well as plenty of visiting kangaroos. Steve knows a lot about Australian plants and animals and is happy to teach you about them if you are interested. We are interested in sustainability and permaculture and try to apply these principles to the way we manage our land.

We need help with maintaining the vegetable garden and fruit trees (sowing seeds, weeding, harvesting, pruning) and general property maintenance (repairing holes in our driveway, raking leaves, stacking firewood etc). You may also help in the kitchen with preserving the fruit we harvest. There is a local marke... more inside

Are you in the area this week?!

We are a relaxed family with three children. Living in the heart of Kalbarri overlooking the Murchison River. A popular surfing spot is 5 mins away. Town is surrounded by beautiful national parks, with cliff walks (where you can spot whales) and gorge trails and lots of fishing spots. Lots of wildlife in and around town.

I have a small sewing business and do various other things around town. We require help with cooking (but not essential), cleaning, gardening, basic daily chores and a couple little projects around the house and yard. A few hours a day in return for board(a comfortable bed), meals and internet.

Kalbarri is north 6 hours north of Perth.

We are a friendly farming family located in the perfect position if you're en route to Albany, Denmark, Walpole and Margaret River.
Our farming operation is a busy one with many thousands of Merino sheep, and a cropping operation growing barley, oats and canola.
We are keen for help around the homestead. This includes gardening and some cooking, minor repair jobs like painting, and shed clean ups.
Our 3 sheep dogs are friendly and enjoy our verandah chats over an evening drink. Pet chooks keep us well supplied with eggs, and the vege patch is a work in progress.
We look for 4 hours a day in exchange for all meals and accommodation (our home). The internet is available and full mobile coverage is at the homestead. There is a pool and tennis court that can be enjoyed at your leisure, and good push bikes to explore on.
Public transport is available from Perth. Albany is about 1.5 hours drive away.
