Hello!
We are a family of seven and we are looking for help for the summer when we only have part of the family at home: father, two older girls (17, 20 years old mother and the baby). You can be an individual or a couple. Preference is given to German speaking.
Mostly it is household help like preparing lunch or dinner, cleaning the apartment, driving girls to activities. We have a baby who is 6 months old, but you will not be a primary person to care for him.
We expect that you engage with the family and help to take care of the household when the father is working . You time will be quite flexible and you will have many opportunities to explore on your own.
We are located in a quiet village close to Freiburg and black forest. You can enjoy bike rides in the area and explore culture of Freiburg. It has a young University vibe and has theater and music events. We are also at the crossroads of three countries: Germany, Switzerland and France. You can explore all three while h... more inside

All new!!!! If you are interested in building a brand new garden (maybe permaculture) or if you want to be part of a new beginning, you will be more than welcome. It also needs a carpenter and someone who takes care of donkeys and cats. There is an old house which needs a lot of work, as well as the destillery!! Creative people are welcome as well as people who are just interested in making new experiences. Music, laughter and conversations are included :) When winter is over there will be a lot of work outside like building a new fence, cutting wood or just make the place cosier as it is right now :)

Hello!
After a fire destroyed our house we have been rebuilding our hostel and holiday home "mundi" in northern Germany, 5 minutes from the nature reserve Lueneburger Heide and about 30 Minutes to Lueneburg and 40 to Hamburg. Also we run a homeopathic clinic for animals (and humans) and have a horse. At the moment there is a lot of work setting up and working in the garden, some woodwork and we are also always happy about cooking and help in the household!
We have been living for a while in New Zealand - so our English is quite good - and we love to have guests and meet people from all over the world.
So we love to hear from you!
Sanne & Peter

Hello volunteers! Our medium-sized (100 hectares) family-run farm is searching for a few helping hands. We, this is Franz-Josef, 67, Christiane, 55 and Julia, 28, do agriculture and gardening, also we have special crops like asparagus. We have a farm shop, a child care and self-harvest gardens. And a lot of nice animals. :-)

The animals are very important for us. Firstly they give the farm life, on the other hand we need them for different things (meat, eggs, riding, grounds maintenance,...) We have ponies, geese, chickens, dogs, a cat and a small flock of sheep. Our ponies, the dogs and sheep like to get petted. It is very important for us that the animals have a good life. We don't earn a lot of money with them, but we want that every animal has good treatment.
So you should be an animal lover!

We are searching especially for the time of mid april to the end of September. In this time we need every hand. It is the most interesting time for people who want to know how to pre... more inside

Farm with lot of animals and work :-)

We live on a farm between baltic sea and Schlei (it is the only german fjord).

Our animals are cows, horses, sheeps, geese and chicken. In spring we put the cows in the green, so they can live half the year outside. The 7 horses of all sizes and ages live also not in a dark stable but under the open sky.

Heine works the whole day on the farm. Feeding our animals, repairing the big machines and keeping the farm in order.
Nicole works halftime as a doctor, so she is parttime out of the house.

We are an open house and hearted family and hope to find someone equal. We are non-smokers, but we don't mind if you are ready not to smoke in our house and in the stable (danger of fire!!). The next small City (Kappeln) is about 4km, the next beach of the Schlei 700m ;-) We can take you from/to the station eather Eckernförde (25km) or Süderbrarup (12km).

We are looking for someone who is NOT afraid of horses, cows, spiders ;) and other anim... more inside

We're a new soon-to-be fully ecological and selfsufficient community in the beautiful Saarland..

4 guys from Amsterdam moved to Germany to completely renovate and improve the Girtenmühle, a 5ha domain with a Camping, Hotel and Restaurant.

We have a lót of plans, but need help to realise these..

Here, one can learn a lot about running a business (Hotel, Campsite, Bistro) and the management of volunteers. We will be renovating our hotel, so many building activities will be conducted. We are also starting a permaculture project in the near future. We are building everything we need ourselves. Last but not least, we are living our dream and we are working really hard to get where we'd like to be... In implementing this mentality might be the most important lesson of all, one's persuit of happiness.

We will be taking care of you during your stay: you'll sleep in a Hotel room with private bathroom (toilet + shower) , and you'll eat with us daily (also on your free days). We co... more inside

Hello,
we are Katja and Bernd. We have four children but only our youngest son (17) is still living with us. Last year we moved to a former pig farm we are still renovating. We live in a small village called Schulendorf which is 6km from the Baltic Sea and also very close to Lübeck. You can take the train there, it takes only 10min and also Hamburg is not far you can easily get there by train as well. We have two dogs, two cats and three horses.

We need some help with taking care of the garden and the horses like mending fences, weeding, cutting of wood, lawn mowing, cleaning the paddocks, feeding the horses and so on. There are different projects from time to time we need help with, for example we would like to renovate our site trailer. Helping with some household duties is appreciated as well. Your tasks will depend on your skills. New ideas and creativity are always welcome :)
Variable helping hours, usually in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, all in all about 4-5 ... more inside

Old monumental farmhouse in small village in Natürpark Fichtelgebirge, near the border of Germany and the Chech Republic. Welcome for guests the whole year who will help us to rebuild our beautiful spot; house and surroundings. We are looking for intelligent 'hands' and 'good heart' people who really want to come here for at least one week.
In the past our roof was burned and therefore there is a lot to do. We are now working in the interior, tiling floors and bathroom, plastering with local clay, painting with chalk paints. And there are a lot of other things to do outside as in the garden and in the field/wood.
We have three young kids, a garden in progress and a very good therapeutic well.
In my work I go with "people out in the landscape to get more in".
We can offer on our 'nature-experience farm' of 1.5 hectare; good basic earth-life, traditional countryside sleepspaces, a good well and spiritual interests; geomancy/gaialogie, healing, nature spirits, and becoming more aw... more inside

We are running a small countryside hostel in the north of Germany, close to the Baltic Sea. The next beach is about 2km away.

In March and April we are mainly doing our Spring Clean, get the house nice and tidy and do some gardening. This time is not very busy and it would be good if you don't mind staying in the house by yourself for some nights.

In May it is a bit of everything and June to September your job is mainly to do the daily cleaning and checking guests in when we are not around. The helping hours are flexible, usually two hours of cleaning in the morning and being around some time in the afternoon again for the arrival of new guests.

We can take up to two helpers, so you can either come with two or we will try and find someone to be here with you at the same time.

The hostel is in the countryside, really nice scenery, but no (or very limited) WiFi and no TV. Kiel is about 1hr by bus away (though it is only 20km; some helpers have cycled there). The next s... more inside
