Our Provencal olive farm and self-catering holiday Gite apartment is only 24km from Mediterranean beaches on the Cote d Azur. In fact, you can see the sea from the olive groves and the cabanon near the house!

IT'S HARVEST TIME!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR HELPERS from END-OCT AND NOV TO JOIN IN THE FUN....

The house is a typical Provencal bastide, built at the head of a secluded valley in 95 acres of Mediterranean olive groves and woodland.
It is backed by a dramatic circle of cliffs in the form of a horseshoe which protects it from the Mistral winds and is only 2 kms from the village which you can see down in the valley. The views are amazing... see more photos in our website http://olives-en-provence.com/galerie-en/
And behind the house there are 3,000 ha of national forestry with walks in an unspoiled and protected natural environment full of wildlife; wild boar, roe deer, foxes, martens, buzzards, hawks and several eagles among all the other lesser species.

Really useful (... more inside

Hello! We, Gregor an Marianne, are a swiss couple (young aged "around sixties") living here in this wild-romantic area of France on the "plâteau des mille étangs". We keep horses, cats and a dog.
We need somebody who loves animals, knows or wants to learn about horses (occasion to ride). There is also work with wood and green space, vegetable and flower garden etc. Actually we should repair fences. Sometimes there is some help needed in the kitchen. We like to cook with fresh ingredients of the market.
Gregor has lots of technical skills and is interested for biking. And me, Marianne, I'm interested in nature therapy, literature, philosophy and photography. Please ask us, if you want to know more about us and this helperplace. But sorry, it is not possible to bring your dog with you.

Hallo! Wir, Marianne und Gregor, wir freuen uns immer wieder über Mithilfe bei allen anfallenden Arbeiten im Stall mit den Pferden, im Garten und der Umgebung. Wir leben mit unseren Pferden, ein... more inside

Hello to you traveler,
My husband (Antoine) and I (Thelma) traveled for a year in New Zealand. There, we made HelpX as guests. This allowed us to meet beautiful people and really discover the local culture. So we decided, when we came back, to become hosts in France.
We live in the countryside of Nantes / Rennes in a house with a small garden. My husband works in a sawmill and I work in a factory that makes madeleines. We have two hens and a cat with 3 kittens. We have a little vegetable garden. I am passionated about creations, I craft jewels, catch dreams and sew pockets.
We want to make you discovering the local culture of our region and the French culture.
We are ready to make you visit in the district (as far as possible because I can work at night), to lodge and to feed you (morning and evening) in exchange for a few hours of work per day. We will need help in the tasks of the house and in the garden.
