This is a field of dreams, transforming into a Centre for Healing. The frost is coming out of the soil,I was out digging today it was blissful. I'm looking for diggers, gardeners, carpenters and generally handy people. Helpers have a room to themselves (or shared with one other if there are 2 helpers) are welcome to join in family meals and may use the internet. If you are interested in homeopathy & energy healing I would love to share some of my knowledge. If you have skills to teach myself and my 2 home-educated children even better!! We are 45 minutes north of Galway city, in a quiet, rural setting, beside bogland.

I raise cattle, horses, and sheep on an idyllic farm near the Fergus/Shannon Estuary. I'm looking for helpers for general farm work; exact tasks will depend on helper's experience. Your accommodation will be in an apartment, including your own kitchen. I will provide the ingredients for your meals, but you will be doing your own meal preparations.

County Clare is rich in beauty and interesting archaeological sites, with spectacular coastline and the fascinating landscape of the Burren.

Ballynacally is about 10 miles from the county town of Ennis, a great centre of traditional music, with interesting shops, restaurants, and the performing arts centre Glór. Ballynacally itself has a trad session every week.

Ours is a peaceful natural place where we grow vegetables, fruit, lots of culinary and medicinal herbs. We have a polytunnel and chickens and bees, 2 dogs. There are water gardens here too. At the moment we are trying to develop the garden into something special and would love to get help with all the projects. Can happily be vegatarian during your stay. There is a wood burning stove in the volunteer accomodation so although it is old, it can be warm and cosy in this unpredictable climate. We would be delighted to have a few helping hands around.

We are a family living 3kms from a small village in a very rural location. We have two kids that still live with us aged 10 and 16 and two kids that have left home but visit occasionally. We are gradually establishing an organic garden, and also the land needs constant weeding, cutting, tidying etc. In autumn, we make country wines and need help picking berries. We play traditional music. I have a tefl qualification and I am prepared to negotiate English lessons as part of the deal. Its best to phone if you want a quick reply as I don't check emails every day.
