Hello I'm a busy mum with two children, Elioth and Zélie. They are twins, 4years old nearly 5 in summer. I'm a nurse so because of my crazy schedules I need help to take care of my children on the morning to drop them off at school (2mn on foot from the house!) And on the end of the afternoon pick them up at school. So you have a lot of time for yourself to do your own staff.
I would prefer a long stay.
My house has a really good location, I'm leaving near the CBD of Troyes a beautiful and charming city with a really old history, and next to the business school and others dynamic places.
A little word about me: I enjoy meet people, have good talk around wine, have good time and fun when I'm not to tired! It will be a pleasure to meet you and spend good time together.
Cheers!

My name is Jen and Tom is my husband, we have a little boy who just turned 2 and are in the midle of the renovation of a
400 year old village house in Fontvieille, a lovely village in the heart of the Provence.

We need some extra hands to help with various jobs we have going on. The list is long and the required skills are varied. Amongst others we need to finish the pool, renovate furniture, paint the shutters, fixe roofs, render walls, get a vegetable garden going and help entertaining our little boy!

The house is set in a little village which is buzzing during the summer months with markets, restaurants and broquantes. We have 3 wonderful bakeries within 100m of the house so breakfast is always delicious!!!

The house itself has a lovely private court garden with barbecue and a plunge pool soon to be!

We have 2 spare rooms and are looking for 1 or 2 people (couples welcome) to come and give us about 4 hours per day of work, in return for full board and logging.

We are a friendly couple (Sue and Xavier) requiring some help in setting up a bnb and ultimately a triathlon centre with its own allotment, chicken coop, running track, swimming pool and gym. There is an extensive list of jobs from gardening to indoor DIY. All abilities welcome.

The 1872 house we are renovating is situated at the bottom of the Pyrenees just south of Pau. Sports enthusiasts, nature lover or those wanting to improve DIY skills will enjoy what we have to offer.
Hours of work will depends on the jobs but a full day's work will see you with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation is within the house, shared room (large double) and bathroom. This shared status will evolve with time as our next step is to set extra en-suite bathrooms.

Hello HelpXers, welcome to our home in Poitou Charente, W.France. We are located just outside a small village with a good community. We are in a beautiful rural area. The river runs through our grounds so it's good here for fishing too.

We have to be away from 21 April till mid May so hope to find (ideally) a couple, or two friends, to look after our house and animals (dog and cat) when we are away. We have a golden retriever and one very timid cats. Help in the garden would also be very welcome.

You will need to be self-catering but we can offer a self-contained 2 bedroom apartment in return for help with house and garden if anyone wants to come longer-term. We are both English and we look forward to hearing from you.

Traditional farmhouse and outbuildings with a mixture of grass and woodland. Large kitchen and flower cutting garden and orchard with cherries and apples.

The inside of the house has two guest bedrooms with double beds, one with an ensuite shower and toilet. The house is heated by wooburners with extra heating in the bedrooms.

Although we are not vegetarians or vegans we are happy to change our meals to accommodate any requirements. Glenys is a Coeliac and a very good cook and prepares meals from fresh and local ingedients. Our first language is english but we speak very basic french so would always welcome any help with learning more french.

We are 800 metres from our village and three kilometers from the nearest shop. We're an hour by car from the Spanish border and have great views of the Pyrénées. We don't have brilliant mobile phone reception but we do have very fast broadband.

We are both in our early sixties and whilst Glenys is reasonably fit I have a fair amo... more inside

I have recently decided to fix up a derelict family Chateau which has been left abandoned for way too long (see my blog post) in the hope of eventually creating a well-ness centre etc.

Looking for 2 hardworking individuals to help me restore the Chateau surroundings. Work will include gardening, cleaning and various jobs such as de-gutting drainpipes, tearing down old ceilings amongst various other jobs that I have not yet seen (there is so much to do it is difficult to know where to start).

Any gardening/building experience most appreciated. I myself am extremely hardworking yet lack the knowledge & physical strength to do some manly work thus I would prefer to have 2 men to help with this project however couples or 1 man & 1 woman are also welcome.

Minimum stay of 1 week, maximum stay 1 month in exchange for (mainly) vegetarian meals and board. Work expected is 5 hours per day 5 days a week. Accommodation is basic (mattress on pallets) but clean with room leading onto a... more inside

Hello Helpers!

This project is all about a reinstallation of a brewery operation in South of France. When we came here first in 2013 we found a bancropted brewery with extraordinary nice beer quality, we took over and had three seasons of growing demand and happy clients. Due to many reasons we finally had to move from the original building and now need to upgade and reinstall the brewing materials into the new premises. So far our team consists of:

--Anja, 47, German, she is running the operation, acts as the legal face to the outside
--Jens, 48, German, responsible for engineering, cost reduction and business development
--Andrea, 28, Italien, is doing whatever is needed and makes friend with many clients and is interested in learning everything about the business, he's running the operation in the winter, he finds and rules new markets
--Heinz, 64, German, Engineer, Inventor, Sailor, Traveller, Allrounder adds the eco thought in all aspects of the overall procedure, t... more inside

Hi everybody,

For some years we have a real need for help on the farm for harvest.
We've never experienced Help X before, so you'll be the first!
I am the daughter of the manager of the farm, I am Elise and I am 21 years old. I study, travel and summer I'm at the farm, it's good times! Mom at 51 and would be very happy to have a little help because she has no time for anything that's why I'll take care of you.

We have a lot to do on the farm so come with your talents, you will find something to do. There will always be cooking, a little cleaning, gardening, maintenance, exterior painting, whichever you prefer.
We appreciate honest people. Help time will be fixed with you, we are accommodating but we do not like supporters of the slightest effort ^^

We have a few ducks and rabbits to take care of a little. I also hope you are not afraid of dogs? She is a German shepherd, she is big and young but very emotional, her name is Joy!
We also have two big Musca and Orange cats ... more inside
