We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers living in West Auckland. We live in an urban area close to shops and public transport but have a relatively large section with lots of trees, vege garden, and a stream with many native birds. We are about 20 minutes drive from several beaches. We have an energetic dog who loves people.

We need help with garden maintenance including trimming trees, weeding and digging and general tidying. There is also inside work such as tiling, plastering and painting if you have these skills.

We require 4-5 hours work a day in exchange for accomodation and meals. Accomodation is in a separate part of the house with own toilet, but shower is shared.

My husband (a furniture maker) and I (an architect) work from home and run our small farm with 4 horses and 1 dog (Tim). We have a small 2 bedroom cottage on the property which is available and we thought it would be ideal for visitors to live in short term who would be prepared to help out with the horses and general tasks around the property. Our farm is close to beaches and we often take the horses swimming etc. in summer.
We are hoping that in exchange for 3-4 hours work per day a helper would get accommodation and wifi, as I am not a brilliant cook meals are not included. The cottage has its own kitchen facilities. A car would be a good asset for a helper so that they can make the most of the area. But not essential.
We have 2 children who have left home. The work would depend on the skills of the helpers but horse knowledge is essential. I compete at showjumping so need help mucking out stables and cleaning gear etc. There is always gardening work to do around the property.

Our home is located in the lovely bush clad suburb of Titirangi in West Auckland, on the fringe of the beautiful Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, and the edge of the Manukau Harbour. If you love tramping, swimming and surfing West Auckland is the place to be this spring. The west of Auckland features world famous beaches such as Piha and a great local realaxed vibe.

We are walking distance to Titirangi village with great cafes and shops. Public transport also close with both train and bus options so you can easily get around the city.

We have a large home on an acre of land, where I are developing a garden for my 8 year old son, small dog, and fluffy cat to run around on.

Our home helpers get their own double room, all meals and wifi access, actually our home is your home during your stay, we are very relaxed and want to ensure you get the most out of your stay.

We are looking for a couple to work in the garden, and do prep work for painting the exterior of our hous... more inside

Hi! We're looking for someone to help us install water collection tanks or help in garden or clean outside of house. Nothing too arduous, jobs you don't have time to finish when you're working full time! If you're here at the weekend we will be doing things together.
The house is newly renovated, warm and dry with free wifi. Titirangi is on the edge of the bush as you head out to the west coast beaches. There is a bus service (hourly at best) that links to the train station in New Lynn.
Titirangi is an artistic place with cafes, a couple of bars, an art gallery, library, markets and shops. I live here with my partner, my 18 yr old son lives between here and his dads.
We can be flexible about food, sometimes cooking and eating together, sometimes you can cook.
The room is suitable for a single person or a couple.
Email or message me if you're interested!
Oh yes, we have a small terrier ... Martha:)

Our property is about an hour's drive from Auckland airport with spectacular sea views on Awhitu peninsula: a 20 minute walk to west coast beaches and ten minute drive to half a dozen harbour beaches. We run an all grass cattle operation. This year we have 500+ beef bulls, three working dogs and a few sheep.

We ask a minimum of four hours work each day. There is always lots to do here. At the moment we are wanting ENERGETIC SELF-MOTIVATED people. Our highest priority at the moment is wood splitting, gardening, household cleaning, painting and some farm work.

There are four of us living on the farm. Joy (my partner) and myself, and my two children - Charlie 12 years, and Ella 11 years stay with us for weekends and school holidays. We are a busy, creative household, music playing and lots of projects on the boil.

Accommodation is separate from the house and shared guest bathroom in the main house. Evening meals are shared, breakfast and lunch self-help (plenty of ... more inside

We are a french family, Aurelie, Matthieu, Pia 2yo and Irčne 4yo and have been living in our house for more than 3 years.
Our very sunny house is quite big, 6 rooms and has a deck with harbour views.

It is located near Hillsborough bay, 40 mn by bus to the CBD. The neighbourhood is very calm, offers many bushwalks opportunities in nearby reserves and along the coast. Shops and train station can be found in Onehunga.

The garden is huge and turns into a jungle really quickly; too quickly for us. Great native trees and birds live here. We also have a veggie garden.

We are at the beginning of big renovations of the house. We will mostly ask for support for all the work we plan to do! It might include to carry some materials.
Any skills as a builder or as electrician or plumber?? Or you like destroying walls? You are the very welcome!!
We might ask for a bit of help in the garden too.

In return of a room, shared bathroom, breakfast and dinner, wifi, we ask for 4 hours... more inside

Need a couple (2 people) to help out with work in our commercial orchard from the 22nd of August 2019. We supply food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. Suit those with a car due to where we are located, however it is not necessary.

We are located on the outskirts of Auckland in a rural area, opposite a pine forest which is great for outdoor pursuits such as walking, biking or horse riding. Within the surrounding area are local wineries and the beach. We are 5-10 minutes drive to local villages, and 15 minutes drive to a newly-built shopping mall. We are 30 minutes drive from the city of Auckland, in non peak-hour traffic.

The property consists of extensive gardens, a tennis court, a pond, a lake, a chicken coup, two paddocks, a home orchard and vegetable garden, and a commercial persimmon orchard. It has been used for functions such as weddings, and movies.

The house is a two storey New Zealand replica villa, country style farm house, with downstairs guest ... more inside

We live on a sundrenched acre of land with sweeping views of native bush and the harbour. Super close to Titirangi village with its cafes and bars, supermarket and bus stops, but tucked into the hillside overlooking the rest of the world, you could easily be a million miles from civilisation.
Great location to head north or south for travelling and in your spare time there are amazing black sand surf beach close by Piha & Bethells beach. Fantastic opportunity to explore the Waitakere Ranges - with plenty of bush walks and waterfalls and spectacular scenery very close by.

4mins drive from Titirangi Village (Cafe, supermarket, restaurants etc)

35minute drive to Auckland City. Limited public transport - but bus stop at the end of the road, train station in New Lynn. Connections from New Lynn to central Auckland city & airport etc.

Around 10-15mins to the mall (Lynn mall) cinemas etc.

We're after someone/someones to help with restoring the native bush at the fringes of the... more inside
