We live on a beautiful 1.8 Ha lifestyle property with expansive views overlooking Tauranga Harbour.

We are a family of 5, although the 22 and 20 year old sons only visit occasionally from university, and the 17 year old daughter is at boarding school and only home in the weekends. We have 1 cat.

Sharon's sister Trish and her husband Robert live in a separate cottage on the property with their dog Meg. Robert is the main supervisor of our Helpers. He loves your company, and is always interested in stories of travel.

Work would consist of weeding (always, there is weeding!), planting, pruning. There's not much work if it rains, but we might ask you to clean and/or cook. Occasionally there is other handiwork needed around the place - eg painting.

If you want a more physical challenge, you can act like a mountain goat and scramble through the tangle of vegetation on our steep bush clad hillside removing problem plants and clearing overgrown pathways.

Work would be ... more inside

Hi helpers,
We have a large Residential property (2.5 acres) 5km from the heart of Rotorua city. There is a local bus stop almost at the end of the drive, so transport is not an issue. We are only looking for 1 helper at the moment.

We have two children, a boy 11 who loves golf and a girl 8 years who like gymnastics, a calf, chickens and a cat. We would provide accommodation, food and internet access. You would have your own bedroom.
We would require 4 hours work per day, but this is flexible to suit your activities.

We are looking for someone who is good with children, can help around the house and in the garden. Rotorua is an amazing place to visit with lots and lots to do.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

We are an easy going, friendly, Kiwi family living on a dairy farm at Rerewhakaaitu which is situated between Rotorua and Taupo. We are Dominic and Becky and our three children Stephanie(14), Charlotte(12) and Sophia(7). The farm is situated on the shore of Lake Rerewhakaaitu with views of Mount Tarawera. We are looking for someone who would like to be a part of our family for the next few weeks whilst the Mum/Wife recovers from knee surgery. The main role will be helping with general household chores such as cooking and cleaning and the laundry. We also have 4 ponies that we would like some assistance with their everyday care. There may also be some light farm work such as moving the dairy cows around the farm. Hope to hear from you soon so we can share with you a rural Kiwi family experience.

Kennedy Bay is a beautiful lake location settled in a hidden bush valley overlooking one of Rotorua's beautiful pristine lakes. LIving here you can learn about real NZ. This home is idyllic wild, beautiful and peaceful surrounded by bush and lakes. You will wake up to the native bird calls and spend the night amazed by the stars.

The lodge looks onto the lake, nearby are natural hot pools and bush walks. The lodge has three separate renovated cabins so helpX people get their own space with shared eating, lounge and dining areas. (Two queen beds and one single)

I'm looking for people to help me improve sort out storage in the new shed and perhaps help with some landscaping. This could include building a small retaining wall or deck which is fun.

I welcome qualified builders, carpenters, tilers, brickies, cabinetmaker or anyone with a skill or a trade. I will buy good material to support your project. It's flexible how you choose to work. Busy times might require you to ... more inside

We are a family of four who grow and sell quality vegetables with love and without nasties! We are currently converting to organic with Organic Farm NZ and aim to be fully certified organic by mid 2020. Our property is based on 1.6 ha and approximately a third of that has been developed into vegetable production so far. This growing season (2018/19) is our first year of full time vege growing! We will provide volunteers with a large shared room in our farm house containing a double bed, two single beds and a couch and three meals a day in return for your work which could range from sowing, planting, weeding, harvesting, pruning, washing veges etc. We ask that volunteers do an average of 5 hours work for us a day and stay for a minimum of 10 days and up to 2-3 weeks (depending on our next booking). At the end of the main growing season in May we will be building a 40 ft container home to live in so anybody with building skills we welcome to help us.

My husband and I have been hosting woofers for more than 10 years, with some time of interruption. Now we joined HelpX , because we do not need help all year round.
We are looking for mature and self motivated helpers. If you had your own transport that would be a great advantage.
If anyone is out there who would like to help with general maintenance around the house right now would be great.
Starting from 4. February onwards for a week to 10 days.
We also have 27 cattle, 9 calfs, 7 goats and a few deer
deer on our property.
Looking forward to hear from the right person / people who are interested to help out and have an mature attitude.
We offer good food ( 3 meals per day and more) and accommodation for 4-5 hours work - also free wifi and washing.
Our property is 16 km outside of beautiful Whakatane/Ohope - lots of things to do in the area.
Minimum stay at least a week preferably more.

Best regards Katharina & Paul
