Hi,
We are a family of 4.
Kelly is a stay at home mum who also works part-time mostly from home.
Stu works in Wellington at NZRTA. He leaves early in the morning and gets back at about 5.30pm.
Ella is 8 and Hazel is 6. They have great imaginations and love to play together . They enjoy being read to, doing crafts, walks on the beach....
Harry is our enthusiastic small dog who to be honest needs to spend more time on the end of a lead. Lemon is our cat.
We live one street back from the beach and at the end of our road is the entrance to Queen Elizabeth Park (great for bike riding, running etc). We have a reasonable sized section and try to grow our own organic vegetables and have the odd fruit tree. Any help with this would be much appreciated!

We would love helpers from time to time to help with odd jobs both inside and outside of the house: gardening, painting, helping with housework (vacuuming, doing dishes). Would be great if you are able to cook and ab... more inside

Hi! I am a local outdoor adventure teacher and circus performer.I live in a restored home and am now working on restoring the shed and garden.

It is a quiet suburban home very close to shops and the train to the city. The home is open and light with wooden floors. I have one spare bedroom with bed, WIFI and normal house services. There is also a caravan in the garden. I have one mature female flatmate who is lovely and contributes to the quite and friendly space.

Our house is quiet and personal, hang out near the fire. We eat good food and enjoy sharing stories about travels.

As far as help, I have painting, gardening, decorating type tasks I am working on. If there is an aspect of this that is preferred, the help would be appreciated. We can arrange hours and provisions that can be made before arrival.

As an outdoor leader i would be hapy to help you set up for any journeys around the country.

I live in Paekakariki, a seaside village 45 minutes north of Wellington. My family live five minutes from the beach and have Queen Elizabeth park a minute away. It is a friendly and vibrant community and there is plenty to do in your time not spent working. I have a quarter acre section with lots of garden, fruit trees and vege beds plus about 35 chickens. Work here differs depending on the season but almost always will involve outdoor work and house work such as clearing vege beds, mulching and weeding, cleaning indoors. Interior painting would be a plus!

Ahoy there,

We are a friendly, warm couple with two young children aged 2 and 4. We enjoy hosting travellers and sharing vegetarian meals with our guests. We would like to host adults who can be mindful and respectful of our children, house and space.

We live in Korokoro, around ten minutes drive from central Wellington. It is a beautiful, green suburb close to regional parks for bush walks and close to Petone Beach. The nearest supermarket is located in Petone, a five minute drive or 15 minutes walk down the hill.

Our house is a beautiful old character villa with a small organic vege/herb garden and some land. As with any old house and garden, there is always some maintenance to do. The type of assistance we need will vary and will include some woodwork, sanding etc inside the house and weeding, gardening etc outside the house.

We are happy to host individuals or couples. In return for four hours daily assistance from each helper, we are happy to provide you with you... more inside

We need a responsible female 20 yrs+ to help out in an au pair capacity looking after my 9 and 10 yr old children. Hours will be 7-9am and 3-7pm each day, weekends are free. On top of accommodation and food we will pay a reasonable au pair rate and the use of a car for work purposes. We need someone who is responsible, a fluent english speaker, experience with children, light house work skills, cooking skills and an experienced driver with a valid licence. In turn you will have your own furnished room and bathroom, meals, use of a car (which may extend to personal use in weekends for the right person who shows good work ethic and responsibility), lots of free time during the day (working in full time in the school holidays). We are wanting someone who can commit to a decent period of time. Position starts 1 May 2018. We are a family who has had 10 years of experiencing au pairs and we would love to talk to you if you think you're the right person for us!

Domestic 3 bedroom house, in Paekakariki. My partener is often away during the week and I require help from time to time.

I am specifically looking for someone to help me out for the 5 days of 26th Feb to 2nd March, I am a painter and need a hand. there would not be much painting as I am spraying but I need help masking up, covering the floor, and cleaning, its hard to do with just me but easy with a hand ...I can let you know more if it goes ahead.
I have a very friendly dog.
Live close to the sea and you can swim in it when its not rough, its very warm at the moment. Paekakariki also boarders a huge park "Queen Elizabeth park" so there is lots of walks and mountain bike trails close by.

The village 14 ,mins walk away also has a pub, organic grocer, movie theatre, deli, cafe and general store. and some very cool walks "escarpment walk"
There is a train station 10 min walk away and to get to Wellington it costs $11 each way.

Sky TV and sports, unlimited fast internet

4 Paddocks is a a small lifestyle block. We are offering free board and food in return for some odd jobs to be done. Painting fences, gardening, lawn mowing, house work etc.

We are open to all cultures who would like to learn a bit about kiwi culture and in return we learn from helpers about their culture.

The property has one calf and 8 chickens.

The house is a large 4 bedroom home with plenty of space to relax.

My husband ( Lionel ) is in the navy, coming up 42 years, I Vicki, currently just work around the property and keep the gardens up to date.

We look forward to accomodating anyone interested in helping out in return for food and board on a temporary basis as they travel around.
