High country farm running merinos and Angus beef cattle. We would like a couple to come for two weeks over Christmas to feed our farm dogs, chooks etc and keep an eye on a few troughs.

We live 80km from Blenheim on a gravel road. You need your own vehicle but we would provide fuel and all food. You would live in our house while we are away.

We live next to a river, have a pool and spa , and beautiful landscape everywhere!!

Accommodation is provided in a detached sleep out with double bed. Hosts are a family of 4, Mum and Dad, a daughter of 18 years age and a son of 15 years. We are a typical rural kiwi family, we enjoy animals of course, sports, movies, sharing good food and wine and learning about other cultures. We're a pretty relaxed home, 2 adults 1 8 year old boy, 1 dogs and a cow. We live by the sea in the marlborough sounds, go boating and exploring when we're not gardening or collecting fruit from our orchard.. Our property is 18ha and we have mostly trees on the place. We love to cook and drink wine, and beer and entertain. The projects we have on the go at the moment are pruning trees, weed eating, and some boat maintenance...You'll have your own accommodation in the beautiful tent/yurt you see in the picture...you'll eat your meals with us. We love having people stay, its easier if your english is good but we'll do our best!!

We are looking for a nice German (guy or girl) to help us in our little paradise in the Marlborough Sounds for one or more weeks.
The position includes house holding, cleaning, gardening and help with the computer.

You work around 4,5 hours a day in exchange for accommodation and good meals.

Nestled in lush native bush on the crystal clear waters of Pelorus Sound, our place offers magnificent views, total relaxation in a truly unique aquatic environment.

If you are looking for a place to rest in silence without hurry only with the sounding of nature and you do not have problems to live without many people and without constant self phone/internet access, then you will love this peaceful place.

Accessible ONLY by water transport.

Here is heaps to do: swimming, walking, boating, kayaking, fishing, seeing glow worms and a magnificent night sky, reading and relaxing

While we are a sheep and beef cattle farm, the majority of the work will be involved with garden, fence & building maintenance and during the saffron harvest (April), assisting with picking and processing the saffron. We are really needing helpers for April. It is an interesting and very unique spice.

We are looking for honest, trust worthy, enthusiastic people who are prepared to join in with whatever activities we need help with at the time.

If you don't have your own transport, we can pick you up from Ward which is on State Highway One, 45 minutes south of Blenheim.

Please contact us initially by e-mail.
