We live in a rural setting on the edge of Warrnambool (3.5 hrs by train from Melbourne) with its beautiful coastline and sea. We also have a holiday rental house in Warrnambool very close to the beach/ocean, Visitor Information Centre and Flagstaff Hill. South West Victoria is very interesting and diverse with lots to see & do including the Great Ocean Road. We can also take you to see kangaroos, koalas, emus in the area. 3 of our Helpxers have found a koala in our garden - it happens sometimes.

Our property has lovely views to the north and consists of a large garden with fruit trees, vegetable garden, home, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and thatched Balinese bungalow which is used as a reflexology clinic and we have a very special 13 year old West Highland dog who loves attention.

We (Doug and Sandy) have travelled extensively and lived overseas. Sandy has worked for a farm & cultural exchange program for many years & lived in Denmark & Canada and Doug has travelled ... more inside

Hello travelers, welcome to Australia.

I am a friendly, relaxed, woman in my 50ís, with no children, just a pet llama and occasionally some neighbours cows (sometimes we are visited by the local kangaroos, koalas or echidnas.) Non-smoker, I maintain a smoke free home, but have an undercover BBQ area where friends can go to smoke if necessary. My late husband and I traveled extensively around Australia and overseas, loved meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and sharing this fantastic country with others.

*** Ideally I am looking for couples or two friends traveling together.***

*** I have been absent from Helpx for a while during my husband John`s illness but am open to enquiries from helpers again now. ***

Our 12 hectare property is in Yendon, near Ballarat and comprises of 2 hectares of gum trees, 8 hectares of paddocks and 2 hectares around the house including the house garden, orchard and vegetable garden. We are surrounded by a mix of native bush are... more inside

We have a luxury camping getaway set on our 25 acre protected bush property, it is a home of significant local flora and fauna. With 360 degree views from Kinglake to Kilmore. Located at the door step are many local wineries and the gateway to the Yarra Valley region. We are also under an hour from Melbourne city.

On the property we are currently building our strawbale house. We are interested in hosting singles or couples who would like the opportunity to have a glamping experience unlike many others in exchange for a few hours labor on our house build. Jobs will likely include swinging a hammer or handing me tools.

The glamping site is the only accommodation on our property and you would have the private use of it. Giving you a wonderful secluded Australian bush escape. There are cooking and cleaning facilities, a flushing toilet and hot water.

So a little about us, Iím a primary school art teacher who is taking time away from the classroom to build our family home. Elle... more inside

Hi Friends, we are currently looking for helpers!!Here's a bit about our family and farm.......

Shane and I live on a large rural property one hour from Melbourne with our two young children (nine and five). Our property is situated in a beautiful environment, however needs ongoing care to realize it's full potential.

Most of our property is native bush, home to the diverse wildlife here (wallabies, wombats, deer and parrots).

With busy lives we require ongoing help to maintain our property. Such tasks include gardening, mowing, building, fencing and cleaning. We are also currently renovating our house so there are some house projects that require attention.

Our home is quite small so our guests reside in the Outhouse. Guests say they love staying amongst the trees and enjoy having their own private space, set up with running water, electricity, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a double mattress and single bed. There is wifi and TV in your accomodation. Updated phot... more inside
