Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom house with a large yard about 30 minutes north of Brisbane CBD and 30 minutes from the airport. I have recently started a small vegetable patch and would love to expand it and grow our own veggies

Looking for help for a few weeks in May and June with day to day household chores including cooking, cleaning, light gardening and childminding. We want to expand our veggie patch and would like some help to pull out weeds to clear some space. Would suit someone after work that is not too strenuous, the most important thing is that you are patient and willing to help where needed. A good sense of humor is also essential with the kids!

Nestled in 2.5 acres of forest, our home is our sanctuary; our own little slice of paradise. Originally from New Zealand, we have lived in Switzerland, the UK, South East Asia and now Australia. We have a global and tolerant outlook on life. We had 3 generations living here, but with the exodus of the younger and elder, and the menfolk involved in competition sport, we are now very few people in a very large house. So we find we are now in need of help around the property.

Our home is in an environmentally sensitive area, and in particular, we have breeding & feeding areas for the endangered Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. We have large ornamental gardens, a big vegetable garden, a small orchard, a flock of free-range chickens, two cats and quite a bit of local wildlife that visits. We incorporate organic and permaculture practices as much as possible on the property. We do not use any toxic commercial sprays.

We are looking for helpers who are able to work independently if need... more inside
