Hello,

We are seeking volunteers for gardening, cleaning and basic DIY.

We are looking forward to meeting new people!
There would be time to spare and we're just 40 minutes by train away from the center of London.

We ask that volunteers stay a minimum of 4 weeks, with longer stays appreciated and prioritized.

This is a friendly, welcoming place with much experience hosting volunteers. We have had volunteers from all over the world stay with us and everyone here believes in promoting cultural exchange and learning new skills.

Location:
This is a beautiful property located near Stanstead Airport in Hertfordshire. There is a small village (High Wych) 5 minutes walk away with a shop, post office and pubs. Sawbridgeworth is a 20 minute walk away and has a good selection of shops and restaurants. Harlow is the nearest big town with a shopping centre, leisure facilities etc. London is half an hour by train. I have recently returned home to the family farm and need your help:) Come and have a wonderful summer on our farm.
We have 50 acres of grassland with 2 jersey house cows. A small herd of shorthorn beef cows and wiltshire horn sheep. We have a couple of glouceser old spot pigs, some chickens and a veg patch. The farm is highly diversified with craft/artists workshops, a campsite, a cafe, and a river swimming club. We have a small school on site and we do lots of farm education with school trips and also a regular farm school.
There is also 150 acres of conventional arable land that I am managing under countryside stewardship with an aim to encourage wild pollinators, bats and birds.
Volunteers would be expected to work 25 hours a week and stay at least 2 months. Jobs can vary and can include gardening, working in the tearoom and on the coffee van, collecting subs at the river swimming club, looking after the campsite, and working with school groups. Depending on your experience y... more inside

Looking for a female to help out with our trekking school during the summer months from june till the beginning of September.

We are situated in the beautiful countryside of Highlands of Scotland beside the famous Eilean Donan Castle and 20 minute drive from the isle of sky . This is a rural area with limited public transport but a perfect paradise for walking, cycling and hill walking.

We have an estate with lots of horses and are looking for someone to help assist our new pony trekking girl with the horses which would include grooming the horses and other general work in the stables. As well as this there will be general duties around the farm such as making beds for the bed and breakfast, light housework and maintaining the grass.

I am looking for someone who is outgoing and confident and someone who feels comfortable being away from home and also confident around horses and ridding. There is also our friendly Labrador Trudi who will be on the farm.

Hello!

I am looking for someone to come in May/June to give me help with family life.

My three kids (13, 10, 5) do not go to regular school. So I need some extra help around the house. It may be help with tidying or planting in the garden, taking the youngest to the park or help with clearing up the kitchen. Or shopping or - anything really - so I can try to get a moment of work done!

Your room in the attic is newly done and you will have a top of the range Bo Concept sofa-bed. However some of the house is still quite chaotic - just to warn you!

We are an easy-going family, every day is different. If that sounds as if it would suit you - come stay! I'm looking for four hours help a day with weekends off - though occasionally I would love you to babysit in the evening, part of your hours, of course.

We live in South East London zone 2 in a quiet leafy conservation zone called Telegraph Hill. Nearest overground train is New Cross Gate and Queens Road Peckham. The ne... more inside

Hi.
We run a busy pub in the Cotswolds just outside Stroud. We have a lot of events here, and music a few times a week, we have a sweet garden area which is in need of love and constant care. Looking for one or two people to come and stay while enjoying the area for a couple of weeks or so. Work involves gardening, planting, painting and some general decor as well as cleaning.
Friendly family set up, we have six children but only one at home at the moment. You will be well fed and watered and be part of the family. We eat as a family, often with friends and staff and am happy to cater for most food types, although. Nut allergyís could prove a problem.
We are just outside Stroud on the edge of the beautiful Rodborough Common, and close to Bath, Bristol with Oxford, Birmingham and London not far away.
There are many walks, great bike rides and art and entertainment locally.
We are quite well connected to the national rail line from The town less than a mile away.
