Immediate availability for a minimum of 4 weeks stay. (if you require to self isolate for 14 days then a minimum stay of 8 weeks)

i am restoring a small farm which i share with Horses,Alpacas,Sheep,Goats,Ducks, Chickens,Turkeys,Dogs,Cat and a Parrott.

The big project at the moment is converting the dairy into accomodation, building a hay barn and the farmyard needs landscaping into a garden...Maintenance of the fields, tracks and machinary is always ongoing as is the care of the farm animals.
I also have an assortment of vintage farm vehicles which always require some TLC.

An extra pair of hands to help with any of these tasks or helping look after the animals would be amazing.

In return I can provide food (provide your own alcohol) and accomodation (own bedroom lounge and bathroom) ,...its a peaceful rural lifestyle in a friendly community, theres cycling, fabulous walks, a nearby gliding school and WiFi

The attached photos show some of the progress made so far and ... more inside

Student Accommodation and Digital Music Studio in Oxford -
Hi there - I have 2 houses  where I provide accommodation for International students - I have 2 or 3 students in each house - Oxford is a great international and multi-cultural study centre and its easy to feel at home in this city. The students who live with me are either Uni / postgrad or researchers - they are usually independent and busy with their studies/research - so this is not like a hostel -but they are happy to have a chat when they are around.

I need a helper to assist me in both houses in basic house-keeping duties - cleaning, some house repairs, gardening, food preparation, etc.   In connection with the studio, maybe some basic IT work. No skills are required for either job, however your english level should be enough to know the names of basic cleaning and building tools. You should learn these before arrival. The work is more suitable for a male person and I can only accept one person at a time. ... more inside

We have a 17acre small holding in the rural welsh countryside, on the edge of a large forest area. On the small holding we have 1 horse and 16 chickens. We live in a 3 bedroom bungalow, which is set within a 1 acre enclosed walled garden. 4 dogs live with us in the property- 1 Labrador and 3 Clumber spaniels where large numbers of birds of all sorts visit the bird table at all times of the year. We also have a log cabin for helpers to use, this is fully furnished and equipped. The land is mainly laid to grass, in 2 areas. Also on the estate, we have a stream, a river, aa acre of mature woodland, with lots of wild flowers. We open the garden for the National Garden Scheme for a weekend in June.
Help is required for various tasks around th estate. These could cover any of the following, weather depending: gardening- flower and vegetables, woodland management, general construction in various forms and materials, timber preparation, hedging, grass management to name a few. ... more inside

*** Unfortunately, due to covid-19, we are unable to accept any helpers ***

Set on the edge of the pretty fishing village of Beer on Devon's south coast, this 39-bed Youth Hostel is in need of a willing helper over the coming months to help keep it looking it's best.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer food, but you will have full use of a kitchen to prepare and cook your own meals.

The work here at YHA Beer mainly comprises of 4-5 hours a day of cleaning (inc making beds) with some occasional gardening and painting, and with 2 days off a week.
It`s not particularly glamorous (can include a fair share of cleaning toilets!) but the reward of living in this lovely village just a 10 minute walk to the beach, I think, makes it well worthwhile :)

Whilst we only have one room in the staff flat for helpers, if that is full over the warmer summer months and you are happy to camp (with your own equipment) with full use of the hostel facilities in exchange for just 2-3 hou... more inside

Hi, I'm Leigh, and run an expanding bee farm.

I live in the middle of beautiful English countryside, in the county of Norfolk.

I'm looking for general help - there is always more to do than I have time for. Some of the work will involve moving hives late at night/early in the morning, with quite long journeys taking the bees to new flowers. In June, places visited will include Essex and Rutland, and from late July-Sept, regular trips up to Derbyshire and Yorkshire will happen. Might suit someone with woodworking skills.

Accommodation is in the house - I am trying to source a caravan to give helpers (and me!) more independence, but one isn't currently available.

Cooking could be part of helper's work, as I often don't have time to cook!

Home is 5 miles away from closest shop so own transport or a love of cycling would be advantageous.

Experience with bees would also be an advantage- failing that, a desire to learn.
