UPDATE We are looking for some helpers ASAP due to late cancellation.
We are now looking for new helpers for the summer. We prefer if people can stay longer ie. at least couple of weeks. Anyone interested in helping family in running small b&b and gardening is welcome.

We are a couple with one child 9yr son Alex and we have for now 1 dog Terra who is one big baby who needs constant attention. We relocated to Scotland from South Africa three years ago where we lived for 5 years and before that we lived in Angola also for 5 years. I am originally from Bosnia/Croatia and my husband is from England but both of us spent most of our life's working and living abroad.

We are easy going family who enjoys travelling, cooking, meting new people and shearing experiences. We now have new home in small Scottish village which we are trying to renovate and make it truly our home. We are an elderly couple who have "downsized" to a new place, faced with a wild and untidy garden. Help needed to tidy up, redesign for easier maintenance, plant trees, cut and chop firewood, and help with vintage car. Saw and axe skills essential.
Helper to live as family. We are omnivorous, non smoking, and enjoy a glass of wine. We are widely travelled and enjoy meeting new people. Our house is in quiet rural woodland, about 1km from bus route into Inverness.

HELP NEEDED FOR TWO WEEKS THIS JUNE. We are located in stunningly beautiful Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. It is a fledgling Natural Sanctuary consisting of 14 acres of woodland, meadow, a river, organic garden and free range chickens. There is a main house, a cottage which is rented out, and various outbuildings including an insulated caravan. At the moment, I am here managing Comraich on my own. My partner from India visits for 4 months every year and we travel around and run singing workshops. My vision is for Comraich to become a flourishing sanctuary and permaculture project for wild life and biodiversity, with various events such as woodland and foraging walks, singing and nature based spiritual workshops and maybe more animals. I am part of a small global spiritual community with roots in the Hindu tradition. I hold regular chanting evenings. It is an earthy-based spirituality that is about fully living and experiencing all aspects of being human. Though eating a lot... more inside

Small scale (mostly seasonal) old fashioned B&B in Highland coastal village requires help with all domestic duties, gardening, maintenance etc! Must like Jack Russells!!!! I am also a singer so a bit of 'roadie-ing' perhaps - plus I have a vintage clothing shop and on line business - so this placement would suit someone who likes variety, is creative and happy to just get stuck in with whatever needs to be done.

We're the hostel facing the sea, it's scenic, it's peaceful, and it's sunny! We've opened 2 years ago and already built a strong "boutique hostel" reputation. We are looking for a responsible, genuine and cheerful help. Our guests are mainly hikers, amateur sailors, bird watchers, school and uni trippers and also fish and chips eater. We've got constant and good ratings, thanks to many factors, one of them being our helpers!
