Hi, we are a family of 4 looking for some helpers ASAP to help us with the garden mainly, some light house work, cooking (if you enjoy it) and playing with the kids. We live on a nice property in the suburbs of Brisbane with a very large garden. We prefer to have women or a couple. French speakers would be highly regarded as I am from Quebec and speak French with the kids (2 and 4 years old). Texting and emails are the best way to get a hold of me. Looking forward to hearing from you :)

we are a family run beef cattle farm about 350km from brisbane.
we have about 65000 acres and 1600 cattle.
Backpackers we have had here in the past have participated in jobs such as fencing, feeding cattle, cattle mustering (including horses, motorbikes and quadbike), burning off scrub (in the cool season - ~aug/sept) and building yards. we will give you a good experience and teach you new skills like riding a motorbike and horse and driving tractor etc.
we milk a couple dairy cows by hand every morning, have many working dogs, horses and a couple of pigs.

we currently have 3 generations on the farm (age 2 to 62) and feel it is important to have fun while working. We respect initiative and hard working attitudes but find time for good conversation in a spirit of inquiry.

Here is a link to a video that a french couple compiled from their stay at "Killara"... (thanks guys!)

cheers

We live in a beautiful leafy suburb close to the city of Cairns as well as beaches and lots of freshwater swimming holes. The room has air con, a bathroom, and we have a pool. We have a place available now!

I'm a mother to two beautiful kids, and I would love some help as I work part time. Helping with cooking, cleaning and looking after the kids would be great. I speak English and German and have spent many years traveling the world. I'm a nurse so I work shift work, and I share the care of the kids with my ex husband. We have a 3 bedroom house with 1 bathroom and a big rumpus room which will be converted into a living space for our guest. We have a lovely big garden and are walking distance to shops and the train station.

On our property in our dams we have many wild life including platypus & many birds including the Kookaburra also know as Laughing Jackass.

We are establishing a farm stay property creating a self-sufficient life for our large extended family. We have solar power, on-site biological sewerage plant, extensive rainwater collection, animals for food and an extensive vegetable and fruit garden (about 2 hectares). We make cheese, butter, yoghurt from house cow milked daily. We also preserve any excess from the garden including jams, relishes, pickles and sauerkraut. We would appreciate some help in the garden, or with any of the above activities on our farm.
