4 acre smallholding in its infancy, currently busy putting up stock fencing before have livestock. We have chickens, two dogs, three cats and hamster. Soon we want pigs, goats, geese and sheep.
We live just outside the picturesque town of ellemere with its wonderful lakes and canals. We are close to Shrewsbury 20 min car drive.
We don't live on a bus route and there are no shops in walking distance.
We have so many things to do here such as tree planting, putting fencing up, digging ponds and ditches, we grow our own so lots of hoeing to do! Shifting our compost heap, sorting housing for livestock the list is endless and would be wonderful if someone could help. We have a spare double room and also a small room with bunks

Nice house, with space next to farm and orchards

help would mostly consist of helping outside chainsaw work cleaning out some areas for new planting areas.

work would also consist of just spending time working occasionally on the farm next door milking some older cows and we also need help with construction, plumbing, electrical wiring and general farm work

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE NOW MOVED FROM CORNWALL BUT WILL SOON RELOCATE TO SPAIN AND WILL UPDATE OUR LISTING AS SOON AS WE CAN. THANK YOU WITH ALL OUR HEARTS FOR THE HELP FROM ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS OVER 2012-2014. LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING NEW PEOPLE FOR NEW CHALLENGES SOON!! V&L ??

We are a small family of 2 humans and a multitude of furry creatures who have miraculously landed ourselves with a huge 200 year old farmhouse in a stunning part of Cornwall. A dedicated footpath runs from the back of our garden across the fields and down to a beautiful beach. We are slap bang in the middle of Cornwall so it is a perfect spot for exploring the county and the famous coastline.

Making the most of our luck we let out our 4 extra rooms to travellers or people needing short term accommodation and run our house as a homely mini hostel/casual B&B being as eco friendly, organic and creative as possible... BUT... there is so much more we want to do. We have a big garden area with mountains o... more inside

HELP!!! Our garden is in need of TLC. Actually, it's a relcaimed part of a field and we'd like to create a wildlife haven and a sanctury for people. There's a little orchard in place already but the greenhouse and raised vegetable beds need repairing, we've got some paving slabs for a patio area and we are looking for inspiration for the rest!
We're also in the process of converting our 1960's caravan into a mobile tea room for our catering business, so experienced, practial help with that would also be appreciated.
If you fancy some outdoor work in good company, with good humour and great food too, we'd love to hear from you :-)
Help-Xers start at 10am (after breakfast). We expect around 5 hours of work each day, not including 1 hour for lunch (which is usually around 1pm). We also ask for help with cooking meals and clearing up afterwards. 5 days a week. This includes 3 good, home cooked meals a
day and tea/coffee snacks as required, a bedroom in our house, with access ... more inside

This is a lovely Georgian property with lots of character and lovely views on the hills above the Ayrshire coast. We ran it as a B&B for 10 years and now live at a more leisurely pace. We would like some help with the large garden and general maintenance around the property. We try to be as eco as possible and have biomass heating, our own spring water and live as sustainably as we can.

We need help with 3 different business:

*Help at home, basic cleaning, cooking and taking care of a baby while learning Spanish. It will suit someone that want experience as au-pair. I am a native Spanish speaker and I can offer you lessons and conversation while you help me.

*Help in our organic farm, different tasks, building deer fences, weeding, planting, logging, cooking.

*Help to build a log cabin in wheels. Experience working with wood is an advantage. Good spoken English, please.

Please read the requirement of any job. You could be doing all of them if you think you are suitable.

You will have your own room in a warm house. Three meals a day (we try to eat as healthy as possible, cooking from scratch) and unlimited hot drinks.

We have many requests but I read carefully and answer all.

Thanks for reading this,
