Hi all,

Busy beekeeper looking for an extra hand with some tasks. Mostly inside shed work to do with preparation of bee hive equipment. This will mostly be waxing bee frames or assembling bee boxes etc. On occasions if wanted it will also be possible to help out on the bee sites out in some beautiful natural New Zealand spots checking hives, honey or queen bee rearing.

You should not be allergic to bees. It is possible to get a bee sting if looking through bee hives or working with the bees. A bee suit and gloves will be provided to minimise this.

Relaxed friendly environment the house is home to four other young (25-30) active people , you will need to be willing to do a minimum of 3 hours a day in exchange for a room and facilities food can be provided but you may need to prepare yourself depending on my work schedule.

We have a little sheep (10 sheep) and grow vegetables for home use.
Our farm sits on a hilltop overlooking the sea and we offer private lodging and all meals (mostly organic) and cater to all diets.
We need help with winter vegetable planting, paddock maintenance, weeding and raking leaves.
We enjoy hosting overseas visitors, speak fluent French and love helping travellers perfect their English
Life is pretty chill up here on the farm, with quiet evenings under the beautiful night sky. Stargazing is excellent.
We provide all meals and much of our food is organic and grown in our own garden.
We look forward to seeing you!

We live on an eco-village where we are currently planting native trees and developing a food forest with our daughter Sophie. We also have another block of land with outstanding views that we are developing as a combination Airbnb and possible Retreat Centre. We have a good variety of outside land-based work and building work or carpentry/painting inside of it's raining. There are beautiful beaches and walks in the area. We try to just work mornings 6 days a week so you can enjoy this gorgeous environment in the afternoons.

Hello

We are Greg and Fabi. We have two children (boys 13 & 10). Our property is a mixture of open paddocks and native forest and a stream. We are 15 minutes away from Whangarei (the biggest city in Northland) and two hours drive from Auckland.

We are building a rammed-earth home on our rural property near Whangarei In Northland. We are looking for helpers who want to be involved in the process, who are interested in earth building and who are keen to join the small team we have assembled to do the build. Rammed earth involves creating a mixture of earth which is them rammed in between forms to create a wall. We use power equipment to do this… so no need for hours and hours of hard labour pounding it in by hand!

We are looking for people who like to be outside, who like to create things and see the satisfaction of something being made. Ideally you’d stay for a few weeks to get a real feel for the place and what is being done here.

We have a comfy caravan available as... more inside

We are looking for 1 or 2 fit, energetic people at a time to help us restore and develop our harbour-side bush property. We need help to eradicate weeds and tend the vegetable garden.
We have a magnificent view of Whangarei Harbour, are adjacent to a golf course, close to swimming and surfing beaches, tramping tracks, and 20 minutes drive from the centre of Whangarei. We prefer those with their own vehicle as there is no public transport.
We offer food and separate accommodation downstairs which includes your own bathroom in return for 5 hours work for every night that you stay. Please do not contact us unless you enjoy physical, outdoor work.
At the moment we really need an arborist/tree surgeon but all enthusiastic workers are welcome. Cheers.
