I am a passionate beekeeper and semi-serious gardener.

I work with bees so if you are allergc to bees please understand this post is not for you !!

My husband Anthony and I run 2 large properties with diverse fruit trees - we also have two hot houses for vegetables and flowers and we plant and harvest all year round.
Work is MANUAL LABOUR and includes ALL aspects of gardening in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. Jobs include : vegetable, flower, berry and fruit picking, all aspects of gardening, property maintenance, small art projects, certain aspects of beekeeping (in spring - summer - autumn)looking after chickens and occasional babysitting to our grandson 3 y.o PerryPaolo.

I also run a B&B on the property and so helpers need to be respectful of this.

We are looking for people who are not afraid of manual labour and getting their hands dirty. Every day is different and chores vary according to the seasons, the trees and maintenance. We are happy to teach people about gardenin... more inside

Very central location close to Ponsonby Road, parks and supermarkets. Stay with me (owner) and one border collie (dog). Attractive renovated house and garden. Free WiFi. I have one spare room for a male visitor who is helpful, non-smoking, clean and tidy - and who wants to enjoy easy access to central Auckland and explore its neighbourhoods. If you don't read this, or match these criteria, kindly don't apply because I won't reply and you are wasting your time. Note for Helpers: I probably won't consider your request to stay if you put almost nothing about yourself on your profile - so I recommend you make some effort so potential hosts can know something about you before you apply. After all, the host profile usually has a lot of information, photos and some reviews - you should supply that as well!!

Light duties might include regular housework, ironing a few shirts, odd jobs around the garden or small projects. Since I don't exactly run a farm, I do expect you to adapt to our r... more inside

Please do not inquire we are currently not hosting.

We live on a 10 hectare lifestyle property 70 km from Auckland's CBD and 7 Km to the bustling town of Pukekohe.

Our property is peaceful and relaxing as it overlooks green rolling hills and glimpses of the Waikato River. Plantings of native trees brings regular visits from native birds to our garden and surrounds.

We share our home and property with our recently returned eldest son, our Urban Search and Rescue dog, two sleepy cats and a horse. All animals are friendly and will welcome all love and attention.

We seek wonderful helpx helpers to assist us with some new projects as well as some property maintenance. The tasks are not difficult however a reasonable level of fitness would be required.

Our ideal person(s) would be friendly, happy, independent and not afraid of physical work. We seek practically minded people with life experience (at least 5 years living away from home), who can work both alongside us and i... more inside

Friendly, busy house (noisy and active kids!). Large section in the suburbs with a small established native forest and a plethora of native birds and birdsong.

Three bedroom, 80sqm cabin style with large wrap-around verandahs and beautiful views at tree-top height into the bush. Very fast, unlimited wifi. Netflix, Spotify etc... We have a cat in case you may have allergies. Vegetarian / vegans ok as you're welcome to cook and we have a well stocked kitchen.

The section is 25 minutes from the central CBD and 35 minutes to the airport.

We'd love to meet some guys that have experience with building, landscaping, working with hands etc. Don't hesitate to text or call if this is you!

Thanks for reading!

We have helpers at present for this season. Thank you. We require short term help from 25th May 2018 till early July to pick fruit on our mandarin grove. 2 days per week picking and then general help required with grounds. 4 hours per day in exchange for all meals and accomodation.

Own bedroom and bathroom. Use of pool, spa, internet. It is better if you have transport as there is no public transport (15 mins from bus station) But we can pick you up from Albany if necessary.

Some lifting involved. No experience needed just a willingness to help out, learn and share stories.

Ideally short stays of 1-2 weeks.

I have so enjoyed the helpxers who have stayed and achieved so much on my property.

I live on a lifestyle block, in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges, West Auckland.

For a limited time only I have a room available. The usual is to give a place to stay and food, in exchange for four hours of your energy each day. You are welcome to come and help 4 hours each day, or put in an 8 hour Saturday day then enjoy accomodation freely for Sunday, or 8 hours each for Monday and Tuesday, then have Wednesday and Thursday freein

In line with my concern for the environment, while most Auckland residents have their poos pumped to the harbours, I have chosen composting toilets.
Although registered as organic really I am only spray free (not a helpx category yet), which means there is so much to do on the property. I have a few sheep, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, so help is needed with pruning, weeding, gardening, clearing drains, animal care, also possibly painting, gib-stopping pl... more inside

Our home is situated on the edge of the Hunua Ranges, close to the Hunua Falls and extensive walking tracks. We are a couple with a cat, dog and lots of horses.

We are a small equestrian center & drystock farm. We will provide accommodation in our home and fresh healthy food (we have a small organic garden), also a swimming pool and river for your enjoyment. There is wifi and 2degrees phone coverage (Spark & Vodafone are patchy)

We are looking for persons in 2018 that are self motivated to assist with setting up for equestrian activities, weed eating, general farm duties, weeding, painting, cleaning or if you have a skill in a particular area then we can probably find a suitable task.

Being confident around horses would be a bonus but not essential (Riding does not count as part of the work load).

Having a car would be beneficial as we are not close to public transport, although we can easily take you to the bus/train.
