Hi, we are based in Waitetuna, 15 minutes drive from Raglan (the home of great surfing, coffee, arts and music) and 20 minutes to Hamilton, on a 12ha (30acre) lifestyle block.

We have dogs, cats, horses, chickens and cattle. We are also parents to two boys(aged 10 and 8).

We are a busy family...and so are after someone who can help with house cleaning, cooking, gardening and building....

We have a spacious room available, can accommodate a couple.

Ideally have own transportation to see the sights Raglan has to offer.. however this is not essential as there is a bus stop nearby.

We don't cater for any special dietary requirements sorry...

We look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome to New Zealand.

We would love you to join us on a Help X experience - we have hosted so many people over the past 8 years and have loved meeting all the wonderful people from all over the world.

Our family is social, slightly crazy professional kiwis, with the two boys (9 & 13 years), and a 4 year old Samoyed dog named Chilli. We are both University Graduates and working full time. My husband works as a Senior Manager in Banking and I am self employed working from home which sees me travel away from home.

An exchange at our place will provide your own large room with a very comfortable queen sized bed away from the main house, access to wifi, and real kiwi family experiences. We ask for 4 hours work per day, with tasks involving household chores, child minding, gardening, or whatever we may have going on at the time. The work will not be difficult and will be chores that we normally do ourselves.

The kids are adorable, cheeky, funny, challenging, hilarious, energ... more inside

My wife Sarah and I and our 1 year old daughter live on a small lifestyle block with our Great Dane dog, donkeys and chickens. We have a small 36m2 dwelling on our property perfect for people to stay in (separate from our house).

We have just finished building so are in the process of putting in gardens, landscaping etc. We would love some help with tidying up the property, renovate the sleep-out (extra bracing, add extra windows ect), painting, making a chicken house, putting in gardens, staining decks etc etc.. the list goes on!

We are situated approximately 1/2 an hour to Thames and 1/2 hour to Paeroa, an hour to both Hamilton or Auckland so are very central.

Would love some help with this!

Accommodation and a simple breakfast provided for 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week.

I'm renovating my old Villa house in a small town and need help with carpentry and building & decorating, as well as landscaping & gardening. Help with cooking and/or cleaning is also appreciated. While varied talents are a bonus, carpentry is an essential skill since we'll need to fit doors, build framing, and re-clad some timber weatherboards.

I've recently added a large deck, to take advantage of good barbecue weather, and to enjoy a few cool drinks.

Paeroa is the central hub the Hauraki Rail Trail, as well as on SH2, so is a convenient stop whether you're travelling by bike, van, bus, or thumb.

I'm offering own room in a tolerant house, with either two singles or a double bed, shared bathroom, wifi, cooking facilities, & some meals.

Couples, siblings, friends, and couples with children are also welcome.

Note: There's a cat living in this house - he's very friendly but he wants me to remind you that your health comes first, and if you have a cat allergy he'll under... more inside

We can teach you Maori language and culture and we mostly vegetarian/vegan
Girls only please or couples are OK.
I need help with gardening, housework, home renovation, cooking, preserving fruit, making jam . . you name it! If you have music, or carpentry skills even better. If not I can teach you how to garden and do basic DIY.
Accommodation is a sleep out in the garden - its cute - an old wooden housetruck without the truck. :-) Minimum 1 week - maximum 1 month (we have had people not wanting to leave!)
Around 4 hours per day depending on the day and what plans you have - you can do more one day and none the next. Three meals per day and unlimited wifi included. Good vibes free ;-)

My husband and I live on our lovely 1.5 hectare property, situated in the South Waikato. We grow asparagus and other edible produce. We sell at the gate and at the Farmers Market in Rotorua (40 minutes away) each Sunday. We have just added chickens to sell free range eggs.
Our cosy warm farmhouse offers your own room with a comfy queen sized bed, shared bathroom and separate toilet.
The property is near to the historic Okoroire Pub and hot pools as well as the famous Te Waihau walkway. Located 13 minutes from Putaruru, 7 minutes from Tirau and 20 minutes from Matamata. Help is needed with things such as cultivation, planting, harvesting, lawns, hedges, weeding etc. Building, cooking or other skills would be appreciated.
We have mobile phone reception and limited internet. We look forward to meeting you and having your help and company.

We live part time in the beautiful township of Cambridge in a lovely cottage that we are renovating. Cambridge is a small historical town with a lovely atmosphere. Great place to base yourself for Hobbiton (25 minutes), Waitomo Caves (45 minutes) and Rotorua (50 minutes) We are looking for helpers to help with cleaning, painting and general chores, nothing too strenuous, this and to enjoy this beautiful part of New Zealand. Our other home is one hour from Rotorua in the lovely Galatea Valley so we commute between the two places. City and country life, best of both worlds. (Check our other profile #25906 and reviews).

We are developing a piece of land, with a small forest, a pond, a wetlands, an orchard, extensive vegetable gardens and flowers to attract pollinators. We would love help from someone with building skills (bridges, garden boxes etc) and/or general garden help. Our place is 1km from Waihi town and 11km from Waihi Beach. It is very close to the beautiful Karangahake Gorge which is a great cycling and walking destination. We love to cook so you will be well looked after.
