Family home with me, Tony and 3 girls aged 10, 12 and 17, a dog, a cat and a puppy. We need a house and pet sitter from 5-10 Feb while we are away. Own room and shared bathroom. You would need to provide most of your own food while we are away. The beach is 7 minutes away by car. There is a bus that goes regularly over the hill. We are a 5 minute walk from the local shops and the main town centre is 20 minutes walk or we have bicycles you can use. There are plenty of sights locally and within an hours drive of Whakatane.

Tree planting, make wind break, duck housing, new fences and getting ready for planting projects!!

Come stay with me for a minimum 3days, you can even stay longer if it works out well. Must like animals, I have a friendly dog, ducks, horses and lamb (baby sheep).

I live in Waihau Bay, 1 and half hours drive from Opotiki town. (Nearest town!)

I would love a bit of help on our journey to organic living and self-sufficiency/permaculture lifestyle with others like-minded.

5mins walk to private beach and 1 min walk to wild native bush with fresh water creek. Drinking water is fresh spring water, full of life giving energy.

Lots to explore, we can go on walking adventures, you can go fishing/collect mussels, swimming, do meditation, yoga or just relaxing, watch amazing sunrise/sunsets.
Great place to grow your inner peace, take time reflect on your journey and further planning of your adventures.

Tasks would be: helping plant seedlings, sowing seeds and weeding in 100... more inside

Kayak, surfing or beach enthusiasts. I have a reasonable supply of both surf kayaks and sea kayaks. Surf on one side, large flat harbour on the other. I am happy to undertake basic lessons.

This is a beachfront holiday home (I do not live there full time) on large, private grounds, island location. It is an old, large house in constant need of cleaning and maintenance, as are the grounds. There is a separate unit downstairs available for guests, with own shower, toilet and kitchen.

It is basic accommodation, if it is not up to your standards, we have plenty of cleaning materials. Best described as 1 star (maybe 2?)

There are no shops, no neighbours, no crowds. Harbour frontage is good safe swimming. Ocean beach is a 20 minute walk through the forest. 28km of white sand. You will probably be the only person there.

I will not be catering for you. You will need to bring your own supplies with you and be able to prepare your own food. My preference is to share both food and ... more inside

Hi Helpxers,

I own a small holding farm containing a few animals like cattle, horses, sheeps, chickens, dogs and cats, on which I live by myself.
The accomodation includes a detached room with 2 single beds, a microwave, TV, a hotwaterjug, fridge and some dishes. Comes with own private toilet. All meals are provided. I supply all food shared with me in my outside kitchen. Prefer helpers to cook evening meal and eaten together. Bikes supplied if helpers wish to ride near-by trails. At the township of Kawerau there are free hot pools, further out is a unique waterfall and bush trails to other lakes.
I am situated In the Bay Of Plenty on State Highway 34 near Kawerau.
This area is known as the sunshine capital. The beach is a mare 15 minute drive where you can fish or take a tour of our active volcano on White Island in Whakatane, this area has a lot to see and do.

Some of your jobs could be:
Bit of fencing
Bit of painting
Bit of wood sawing

Greetings From New Zealand,

We are a couple in our 40's and love things to be relaxed for our helpers as it is a give and take both ways. We eat organically and healthy and feed you the same way.

We have been hosting for around 2/3 years now and many have come to stay and enjoy our place. We have to learn to leave feedback for others which is a reason we have no feedback.

We offer accommodation of a beautiful spacious campervan that is similar to a small apartment. Comfort spacious and very relaxing. It is away from the main house so you get privacy.

Mount Maunganui is New Zealand most popular place as the surfing here is amazing as is the walks. We are not far from the large Mall so you can do some shopping if you like. We are not far from the Mount Maunganui beach.

We are looking for help inside and outside of our home. We are central to many areas and towns and are in the middle of the north island.

We are offering full board, separate from our home good food, u... more inside
