Hello,

Our little family of four are looking for some extra support with gardening, childcare, cooking, and cleaning.

We ask for four hours work per day in exchange for a place to sleep (in your own room) and meals. Internet included.

We enjoy yoga, being in nature, riding scooters, eating ice cream, and meeting interesting people.

The girls (aged 4 and 6) especially like playing outside, going to the beach, riding bikes, chatting.

We see HelpX as what we can gift to each other rather than what we can get from each other.

We have a comfortable 5-bedroom house right on the beach. Walk across the road to the sea. Half-an-hour to Palmerston North, just north of the lovely Kapiti Coast. Bush and sea walks within short driving distance or a long, safe beach just across the road. Light work in the garden, creating order in a wild and weedy section. Plenty of free time for beach walks and exploring. Please note that the Helpex map is incorrect. Search for Foxton Beach (north of Levin). We have a very friendly Border Collie dog (Harry) and an over-friendly cat (Smooch). The work is mainly building and renovation but we are generous with hours off because it is your holiday time.

We are off-grid on a seven acre lifestyle block in the heart of the Wairarapa Valley. It is a peaceful garden setting with ducks, chickens and cattle, just an hour and a half from Wellington by car or train.
We are 15 minutes from Masterton, Carterton and Greytown, and 30 minutes to Martinborough and to the Tararua Forest Park. We are close to the Gladstone Wine area, and the award winning Gladstone Inn as well as the lovely Ruamahanga River. Gladstone is just an hour from the coast, and is a great cycling area.
Help is very welcome in general seasonal lifestyle block maintenance and gardening tasks.

HOUSEHOLD - help with meal preparation, dishes, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and other basic housework. I have a back injury that makes cleaning floors painful for me so help with vacuuming and wooden floor washing is always welcome.

Hi!!

We are at the beach near Ngawi, Cape Palliser.

We have a fabulous beach outlook on the South Wairarapa Coast.

Lighthouse, seal colony, bush walks, fishing etc.

We have sheep and lambs, laying hens and a cat.

We are in our 50s & 60s.

We would like to have someone help us with bits and pieces at our property. Some painting inside and outside. Gardening too! Possibly a little cleaning/cooking.

You will have your own fully self contained, separate accommodation, in your own little house, next to ours. You need to leave it clean and tidy when you leave, as it is when you arrive.

We have had lots of people stay with us who have really enjoyed their stays and really appreciated this beautiful part of New Zealand. It is quite remote - no shops or hotels etc. We go to town approx. once a week. The nearest town is approx. 62 km away - being Martinborough. It is best if you have your own car.

Send us an email, or text, if this interests you!!

We are a small lifestyle farm, with a large rural flower and vegetable garden. We have sheep, beef cattle and milking goats.

If you enjoy gardening and have a love for animals there is always a job or two to share. I require a hand with gardening, painting and some general work in exchange for accomodation and Home cooked meals. Private bedroom shared bathroom facilities. Wifi available. Limited cellphone coverage.

I am an avid cheesemaker and love learning and sharing new skills.

We are based in a beautiful part of the Manawatu with great hiking and walking tracks through the Ruahine Forest Psrk.

We are looking for someone to help us on our dairy farm from early Jan for a couple of weeks. We milk 650 cows. Please contact us if you are interested.

We are also looking for help looking after our three children aged 5 (Ali), 7 (Liam) and 8 (Harry). Our children are reasonably independent but do need help to school, getting breakfast and then after school help with homework etc. We also need help around the house.

We live on a 650 cow dairy farm near Pahiatua. We are busy out and about on the farm so need help with the children and household chores such as laundry, cleaning and preparing dinner (we are not vegetarian). It is essential you have a drivers license and can drive in NZ. We prefer non smokers.

We are a young family and like to think we have a sense of humour! We provide a room in the large family house with access to wifi and of course all meals.

Please e-mail with details about yourself if you are interested.
