On the property there are some fruit trees and vegetable gardens all grown organically, and four chickens. There is a large spare room in the house with garden views where you will be sleeping.
The house is located in beautiful Paekakariki, 3 minutes walking distance from the beach and right next to the coastal park with plenty of walking and mountain bike tracks. We are interested in some help from a young man from 16th May 2017 with outdoor work such as gardening and tree trimming. Our property is a small lifestyle block with a large family home, 2 living areas and separate guest bathroom. The property is 7 minutes drive to Paraparaumu shopping centre, and the same distance to the commuter railway station and local bus stop. There is no public transport from our home to the local facilities apart from a taxi service, so a vehicle of your own would be useful but not essential as hosts can help. We are a keen mountain/trail biking family with lots of bikes available to explore our area.
We are a retired couple with a dog and cat who live indoors and are very visitor friendly. We are non-smokers and have hosted a number of exchange students so enjoy communicating with people from other countries.
Our home is 70K from Wellington City, with commuter trains running every 30 minutes and 10 minutes drive from the local beaches.
We have opportuni... more inside

We are a happy go-lucky middle aged couple with a large house and two properties. We have three spare bedrooms, two with a shared bathroom and one with own ensuite.
One property is just up the road from "Kaitoke Regional Park" where 'Rivendell' is situated. There are many beautiful walks/tramps in this park.
On this property we have horses, pet sheep and chickens. There is also a dog and a cat in the mix.

Due to our location your own transport is preferable, although happy to drop off and pick-up from bus stop or train station.

We are looking for people to help us clean-up our new lifestyle block. Some work may be hard labour but there is also lighter work to be done.
Breakfast and lunch food provided - but please you must be happy to help yourself for those two meals! We cook the evening meal and would love you to join us for a wine or beer or whatever your preferred beveridge is prior to dinner.
