My large sloping forested block is located on an island in Pittwater in the northern part of Sydney. The island is a protected spotted gum forest but is also home to about 700 people and has a community hall, a kindergarten and a fire brigade. The work on my property is mainly weeding and planting and other outdoor jobs. Some construction work is possible if helpers have those skills. Accommodation is downstairs in a bedroom with queen size bed and new ensuite shower and toilet, with own entrance.

Want to visit Canberra, have a go living in regional Australia and learn about Australian winemaking while enjoy a glass or three? Come and stay.

About us - Bobbie (34) and Jen (31) run a small winery just outside Canberra in Murrumbateman. We're friendly social people that love travelling and meeting new people. We have two dogs, Mollie and Tannin.

About you - one or two people, friendly, show initiative and willing to give anything a go. Ideally you like dogs, wine and cooking; and are looking for a home away from home :)

We are looking for helpers to assist 4-6 hours per day, with two days off each week. You will have your own room (with heater) and bathroom, internet and meals. We prefer if you can stay for around two weeks, we have found this length of stay works well for everyone.

We'll need helpers all through the year, with the tasks changing depending on the time of year. At the moment we're looking for helpers to assist to label wine, prepare for cellar door, ... more inside

Non smoker preferred to help with painting the inside of a weatherboard building. Would require working on a ladder due to The 9 foot ceilings. The home is a former pub built about 1860, lots of character, but the inside now needs repainting. It's a single story building, and looking for some help to repaint, as it would take me forever to do the job myself. Would require using some ‘no more gaps’ where needed, along with painting. Room in yard for camper van or room in house available. Easy work, hours flexible, can be 4 Hrs daily for 5 days and two off, or full day with next day off, or work to what suits. Prefer work exchange for accommodation, but flexible with hours and food. I live on my own, and although have done a lot of the renovations myself a few years ago, this latest task will take me far too long on my own. Not a hard job, but really don’t want to start the task, as it would take too long to finish, but with some help, it would be a lot quicker and easie... more inside
