UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN SELF-SUFFICIENT LIVING SKILLS

WE, Roman (a sustainable design engineer) Jana (full-time mum) and our daughters Lada 6 yrs old, Zlata 3 yrs old & Meda born in April, live what we preach. In the past we transformed an inner city rented property into a productive food source and lived sustainably in complete happiness. You could see and hear us on the ABC TV's Gardening Australia, Bris 31 TV's Blooming in Brisbane, radio interviews, newspapers, magazines or presentations, workshops and conferences. Our family passionately share our knowledge, experience, ideas and inventions. Our sustainable living story and working towards self-sufficiency (growing food, making home produce, up-cycling materials, using urban environment to our benefit) make us less reliant on the society. We created SpurTopia A Small Kingdom of Happiness www.SpurTopia.blogspot.com.au

We recently bought a property (a double story house with a swimming pool on 4500 m2 of land) in Fer... more inside

Couples preferred .... The experience of a lifetime.... Come and stay in the Love Shack ... A tin shed nestled privately in the forest 1000m above sea level on the Atherton Tablelands at Ravenshoe. This awesome little hut has a composting toilet for true Eco living; a natural stream running past the front door; a campfire to watch on moonlit nights and a barbecue to wood fire your pizzas on.

The local community is friendly and more than happy to share a beer with you. All we ask in return is four hour's work per guest per day for accommodation, five if you'd like an evening meal and a snack for lunch. The jobs are endless so no level of skill is required. This property has enough work for the next 400 years so come and do your part. I will happily record your contribution and give you a reference for it. You can make a real difference here. Our first helpexers built the infrastructure for your stay... The shower, the toilet stand, the water pipes to the kitchen sink. What will y... more inside

We are Barb and Dave and we live in wildlife country just north of Toowoomba and we have just a few horses. We are looking for a girl or couple of girls to help out. We would consider anyone (male or female) who is a qualified or experienced house painter :-))

I have two horses, one of which I compete in dressage to medium level (flying change, half pass, collected work etc, not sure what level that is in Europe), and have a third horse arriving September who is very quiet for my backpackers to ride. This means that if you are a good rider, you can come out with me riding or if you are two friends you can take the horses out trail riding together. I will be competing one or two weekends a month from September-November but a break over summer until March/April.

The main jobs you will do will be some cleaning (We have a regular cleaner), gardening and help me with some of the bigger jobs outside and with the horses - the new horse will need some ground training as well as lots... more inside

Pollinating Vanilla Flowers in November

We are a beautiful 12 acre property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland on top of a hill with views to the coast.
We love our animals and have dogs, chooks, a bearded dragon and sheep.
We have 2 kids and both my husband and I work full time, so need a bit of help getting on top of our property. We only moved in a year ago and love this place, its our little slice of paradise.

We have a Vanillary here (growing Vanilla Beans) and a coffee and tea plantation.

We are looking for a female to come and help us in November to pollinate vanilla flowers. This is done by hand with a toothpick and is precise/exact work. It is also sometimes hot in our hothouse!

We have accommodation in our caravan and will supply meals for around 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week

Unfortunately we are unable to take smokers on our property.

We look forward to hearing about your home country, travels and culture as my husband and I have traveled extensive... more inside
