Operating beef farm, with cows, horses and a few sheep. Myself and a few dogs. Living is in the main house with air conditioned room with food provided in exchange for 2 hrs work a day. Jobs include anything from painting to weed control or helping with the animals. Some paid work available on occassions. Not all jobs are farm related. Can offer you full farm experience with horse riding, cattle mustering and quad bike riding. Plenty of places on the farm to explore with some great hill views and spring fed waterholes great for swimming. Nearby beaches such as Agnes Water, great for surfing and 1770 40 mins down the road. Also great fishing spots such as Turkey Beach 15 mins away. Can arrange fishing with family or friends. Stay is for 1 or 2 people at a time with no real time limit. Basic english is a must because I would like to learn more about your country and culture. And hopefully I can teach you about mine. Looking forward to meeting you.
James

We have a beautiful 80 acre farm on the banks of a lovely river. We are currently focusing on moving from ‘self-sufficient’ to hopefully making the farm into more of a business (while also maintaining our organic, regenerative ethics). We have a big vegetable garden, fruit trees and an amazing river that is good for swimming (no crocs). We are in the beginning of adding a 5 acre syntropic orchard, a small perennial market garden, a commercial greenhouse and a small cash-crop of vanilla. If these projects interest you, please get in touch!

Our daughters are 2.5years old, and 4 months old. They are lovely, grounded girls, however combining two kids with a busy farm and animals is sometimes chaos! Marc’s dad lives in a converted barn on the farm, and speaks German (and English). We have several dairy goats, a small herd of dairy/miniature beef cattle, 3 untrained horses, 4 dogs, and chickens, ducks and geese.

We are looking for people to help with the day-to-day running of the ... more inside

Looking for someone to come and experience life on a small horticultural farm with help required to care for a small number of various livestock and of course general housework. Big opportunities to learn lots of new skills with a variety of day to day farm maintenance. Lots of things to do and see in and around the area with close proximity to a big city but far enough out of town to experience the country way of life.
