We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience.
We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, painting, wood splitting, gardening, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 7 hours work a week, which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like.
Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

I run a small "Home away from Home" accommodation business in Broome, and during the first few months of this year I'm offering the right couple or person, short term accommodation in return for some handy work around the property, to get the place ready for this year's bookings. A great chance to immerse yourself in our beautiful Broome and stay with a long term resident who's passionate about the town. I have an attractive place to offer in return for skills in carpentry, fencing, gardening, tree lopping, housekeeping, plumbing, electrical, general hand etc, as well as someone experienced with Xero financial accounting set-up, .. If you have a good work ethic, use initiative and common sense, then there's work to be done and I'd love your help.

**Update January 2019 - We are not taking any helpers for a while, thank you. Best wishes for your journey from us.

We are a family who have built a strawbale home and are loving it. We are looking for helpers with our gardens now - we grow native plants, fruit trees and organic foods; and we have a few odd jobs around the house too (painting furniture, cleaning and pushbike maintenance). If you would like to see our beautiful part of the world, while helping us out a little, we'd love to have you stay!

Must like pets (we have a small dog and chickens); be a non-smoker; and kid-friendly please (our children are 9 and 12 years old).

We live in a most beautiful part of the world - renowned for its beaches and bush, wineries and waves, food and fun.

Accommodation is available in our shed - a fully furnished, clean and very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We are about 6-8km out of town so it is very peaceful here on our little 3 acres.

We have had five HelpXers s... more inside

HI

I have a room available (with queen sized bed). The main tasks are: GARDENING! to be able to use a lawn mower, blower vacuum & whipper snipper and pool vacuum etc is helpful. Tasks include: weed garden, mow the lawn and clean the pool. Help keep house clean and tidy, walk the dogs etc ...its lots of garden work!

I am in the historic town of Guildford only a 23 minute train ride to Perth. Guildford is near the Swan Valley wine region and we are close to the river. There are many supermarkets, shopping complexes, Sunday markets and pubs all close by. The train is only a 3-minute walk from my door.

There is currently 1 bedroom available with a queen sized bed. I have a busy schedule. This is why a couple is better-you wont be alone! I often keep odd hours & eat at odd times so I generally ask you take care of your own food needs. I supply the staples but you will need to do your own cooking and tidying up. I am a vegetarian so any meat you cook, you will need to provi... more inside

We are a small organic farm surrounded by state forest near the town of Boyanup.
We regularly go to Bunbury so if you have no transport you can still see the sights.
There are heaps of different jobs to do from weeding to painting, fencing and mowing. We are about to build strawbale house which should be a challenge! There is heaps of planting to do as well as looking after the chickens, ducks and geese. We would love to grow all our own food here and appreciated new suggestions and idea. We also love new recipes and cooking methods so if you enjoy cooking we love eating!!

We have several LARGE friendly dogs, as well as the chickens, ducks, geese and the household cats. We also have rescued dogs here so if anybody wants to get a doggy hug this is the place.

We have a transportable style self-contained accommodation which is located close to the house and mixed diet meals are provided or if you wish provide your own, we enjoy trying different foods and can accommodate ... more inside

Our property is half jarrah forest and half orchard/vegetable garden.

The forest has an amazing variety of wildflowers and native animals. The orchard includes pears, apples, plums, apricots, kiwi fruit, boysenberries, oranges and pomegranates. We also grow some Australian native foods for example macadamias, native spices, native spinach and native root vegetables.

We have chickens, ducks, geese, as well as plenty of visiting kangaroos. Steve knows a lot about Australian plants and animals and is happy to teach you about them if you are interested. We are interested in sustainability and permaculture and try to apply these principles to the way we manage our land.

We need help with maintaining the vegetable garden and fruit trees (sowing seeds, weeding, harvesting, pruning) and general property maintenance (repairing holes in our driveway, raking leaves, stacking firewood etc). You may also help in the kitchen with preserving the fruit we harvest. There is a local marke... more inside

A married couple living on a small property in the Ferguson Valley. I am an artist and have have a studio /gallery integrated in the home. Husband has a metal Fabrication business in town. There are gardens that always need a hand, especially the veggie patch! We are 25 mins from the coast so your own vehicle would be an advantage but not necessary. The nearest train/bus station is there in Bunbury. Happy to arrange transport from there to here. There is also a lot of work around the valley from other residents. Mostly gardening and maintenance. Looking forward to having company that is leading an adventurous life! Accommodation in own room, shared bathroom, pool and lovely surrounds, help with daily tasks and gardening would be lovely in return for food, accom. Weekends off for travelling and times flexible.
