IN THE MOMENT WE ARE JUST LOOKING FOR LONG THERM VOLUNTEERS

We are living of grid on a 10 acre piece of land, surrounded by the mountains of Cork and Kerry. There are different kinds of areas on different heights on the Tir na Beo. Woodland areas, bog land bits and various types of little fields and gardens. The Gougane Barra National Park and the Lee Valley with the beautiful chain of lakes forming Lough Allua are close by. This is a very rural area and the nearest village is about 5 km away. The distance to the west coast is about 25 km.

History, Philosophy, Life and Plans:
We are inspired by people who live and work on their own land self-sufficient as much as possible and in harmony with nature. Being more healthy and happy. Eating good organic food is also essential for us and our way of living. To us this kind of life is perfect to reveal our potentials.
We are preserving and restoring nature ongoing every year and we would like to share and enjoy this land and this ... more inside

hi! I need help with some computer projects on a Mac OS 10.6.8 like website updating and maintenance and possibly video editing (promoting planet awareness through NatureArt) and also landscaping and maintenance jobs on the land and in the Magic Forest, making firewood and building jobs. I am a musician who gives drumming lessons and workshops in the community + sound healing sessions. I manage an environmental project on the beautiful land of an old farm with stone walls surrounded by local + exotic trees and plants. There is also a Magic Forest (with special spaces with sculptures)and a holy well. There are dogs, cats and a pony. The area is remote + beautiful. It is 7km to Ballydehob, the next village. There is only limited WiFi here. Musicians + film makers are very welcome, but not a necessary condition. I live with my children in an old cottage. Volunteers stay in the house or a caravan. Work is done according priority. Volunteers are expected to be sociable and self-responsib... more inside

We are a family of four who live in a small village in the middle of Northern Ireland a short distance from a medium size town called Cookstown. We have two daughters aged 12 and 7 and we also share our home with two dogs and a cat. One of us works in the musical instrument business and the other as a counsellor as well as being a PhD student. We've a spacious house bordering some beautiful countryside. There's a bus stop in the village providing links to the rest of the country, Belfast is a little over an hour away by bus.

We are home educating and we are using a child-centred approach which means we guide, support and encourage our children to follow their passions, to have fun and to learn in their own unique way. We enjoy creativity, music, art, nature and food.

We would love to invite a helper to support us as a family and so our children can meet people from different backgrounds. We would like some help with the running of our home and with supporting our children. Ou... more inside

Hi Folks,
I'm Jian and this is my story:-
I bought my 15-acre small-holding and moved in beginning of January, 2016 (probably the coldest day of the year). My two sons and myself slept in the two-story stone house with no heating for 3 nights as I had no idea how and what to use to start a fire and there was no heating oil in the tank. But I felt happy because I held a nice vision for this piece of land and homestead. Now 3 years on, the land has 12-acres of hardwood trees growing and a small goat farm running with 10 goats (they are my babies and each has a name of a story to tell). But my vision for this place remains despite of many setbacks. The vision is building it up as a small retreat where people can come and stay and lean the Chinese healing arts of Tai Chi and Qigong for self-rejuvenation and self-regeneration. For this vision to be realized, I'm looking for helpers for the following projects:-
1. Fencing to fence the goats in;
2. Building a studio space with natural ... more inside

Hi, my name is Laura. I live in Galway city centre in a 3 bedroom semi detached house with my wonderful husband Niall, our gorgeous daughter Matilda Rose and our cuddly dog Molly.

We just found out that we are expecting another baby and we are over the moon. Regardless of how happy we are, I am feeling quite ill and feel like I need some help and support in the home and with Matilda.

We are looking for someone who loves children and would like to hang out with one for an hour or two a day (no need at the weekend!) Someone who is relaxed and easy going and can use their initiative.

Ideally we're looking for someone for approx 3 months, but we would be open to suggestions of less or more time.

The help I would need might be in the following areas
Some light housekeeping
Walking our dog Molly (she's gorgeous!)
Cooking some meals
Minding Matilda Rose for a few hours if I need to rest.

All of this is flexible and we are open to having conversation with whoever m... more inside
