Soy guía de turismo de aventura y tengo un pequeño Hostel en mi pueblo, de turismo comunitario, LA ESPERANZA, un pueblito a 25 minutos de Ibarra, en la provincia de Imbabura, Ecuador. We are located near to Canoa Beach about 1 hour, in San Isidro, Manabí, Ecuador. It is a valley with fresh water, archeology, biodiversity, typical food, community tourism, manabi folklore and culture.

Description: We are an association of community members in the village of El Airo (Ecuador) committed to promoting economic development through our 1st place (Ecuadorian contest) award winning organic coffee while conserving the environment and cultural traditions.

We aim to achieve this goal by: commercializing and marketing the organic specialty coffee of our members; promoting coffee tourism; improving coffee quality through organic agricultural training; hosting volunteers to assist in the below projects and others.

We are near the Peruvian border with close transportation to buses headed to Piura and Mancora Peru

The primary assignment for volunteers will be to assist an organic coffee farmer with his or her day to day farming tasks.

this farm is on the way to be self maintained and we need people who like to work in agriculture: we need planting of trees and vegetables,general gardening, help with the keeping of animals(dogs cats horses and donkeys). There is always something to do!

We have a simple but cute guest house with basic facilities. In the main house we have electricity and hot shower.

I will be organising the food shop in the main town and bring it to the finca. The cost of food will be shared amongst the volunteers.

We ask for a weekly $50 contribution towards your living expenses.

we are a family farm and nature reserve in an isolated rainforest area of ecuador. we grow subsistence crops, herbs and vegetables, ornamentals, and a world class collection of over 500 different kinds of fruits. besides the cultivated areas there is a reserve area of primary forest, with abundant plant and animal life.

you will stay in a cabin with individual rooms, electricity from our small water-powered generator, and good running water. we cook and eat together. we enjoy good food, mostly vegetarian. meals feature farm produce, including chocolate, tempeh, and fruits.
