This is a yoga and therapy retreat. It is based in a large old Victorian property with gardens, which we have taken over from a group of Christian missionaries. Situated just over an hour from Glasgow we enjoy magnificent views over the Clyde estuary. We are looking for help to get some organic food production going, sort out a small wood and re-stock flower beds. We also need help with decoration in the main house and food preparation. 4-5 hours a day of work in return for food and accommodation would be great. We can also offer access to regular yoga and meditation sessions.

We are a family with three school age children living at home, a dog and two cats. We work from home and have a busy life juggling family, work, and a large garden in a remote location. We would love to grow more vegetables in our garden, and to have chickens, so need help in setting things up and maintaining momentum once we get going! So we would love to offer accommodation within the house to either a single person or a couple sharing a large double bedroom and en-suite bathroom. We would welcome helpers to join our happy family for some meals and to perhaps help with cooking/housework/dog walking when necessary and/or help in the garden with general chores, and renovating a dog-run to become a hen house and run. We are friendly and welcoming, keen to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.

We have a historic twin masted Dutch Sailing Klipper from 1896. We are developing her as a "culture ship", an interactive arts and performance venue, and a space for cultural exchange.
The whole exterior of the ship has now been restored and we are currently working on the interior, building new cabins and finishing the grand hold theatre space.
At the moment we only need carpenters and plumbers (rather than unskilled labour), so we would welcome anyone experienced in these fields.
The ship is moored at a unique and spectacular location, with views of some of the world's most iconic landmarks, just 500m from Tower Bridge in Central London, on the Thames. In 2012 she took part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee River pageant and the closing of London 2012 weekend/ Thames Festival, and in 2013 the biggest art performance ever on the Thames - 1513: A Ships' Opera

Beautiful, tranquil two hundred year old cottage with a recent sensitive new build, housing a music room come open space for many opportunities such as tai chi , art, singing, meditation, massage, eating.
The cottage has extensive garden and old orchard with piggeries which are set in the ancient woodlands and at the junction of open valleys of the Port Eliot Estate belonging to Lord Eliot of St Germans. This countryside is unique and very special. It lends itself to foraging in many ways.
I am Lee your host. I am a contextual practice fine artist concentrating on wild creations and natural art but use many context bound media. My background is in health care practice and education I also have diploma in Naturopathy from New Zealand where I have lived. we are aiming to give the hostel a major spruce up ready for the next season. we need to paint as much as we can,the reward is the knowledge that you will have helped this hostel enormously to be a stronger prospect for next season. making the stay for young people even better than it has been and given them great memories of their trip.

We are looking for Swedish speakers to teach us Swedish, and to help with housework, home repairs, gardening and childcare in a really pretty seaside village in North Devon.

I live with my 2 children, age 6 and 9. We live about 100m from the water in a very pretty seaside village in Devon, which although small has plenty of cafés, shops, pubs - and a good bus service to the bigger towns. We are looking for people to help us out a bit, and in exchange can offer a warm welcome into a small English family.
