15 minutes from Raglan and 20 minutes from Hamilton. Lifestyle block in Waitetuna valley, beside a creek. Cows, chickens, cat and dog. Adele and Peter and two children. Peter working full time and I, Adele needing help in gardens, cooking, children. We are in process of building a farm accomodation and might need help with painting, landscaping etc. We have a spare bedroom with double bed in the main house. Hours of work would be flexible from day to day according to needs. We are not vegetarian but eat loads of salads and veges so could cater for vegetarian too. Prefer shortstay, 1-4 weeks but could be flexible with this too. Would prefer a single person, male or female but couples ok too. This is a beautiful spot just off the main road to Raglan so easy to hitch a ride if no transport but I go to Raglan at least once a week too.

We are a community in Hamilton. Spread over two houses with 16+ people.
There are Tiny house builders and permaculture gardeners - lots of cool people.

Come if you love helping on a variety of projects.

One of the houses we are renovating, so expect a bit of rustic unfinishedness and to be visiting alot between the two communities so you will definitely meet everyone.

We are an opt in community so not everyone eats together or works on the same projects but we all share the same space and love for one another.
Together we have many skills to offer, from building tiny house and permaculture gardening to making wine.
We would love to share knowledge with you, you don't need experience, just a willingness to get stuck in.

Expect to be surrounded by life, bustle and children.

To have new experiences and meet interesting people,
knowing your hard work is valued and that you are one of us from the minute you arrive.

Food - we do eat meat. But happily cook vegetaria... more inside

lifestyle block north of Hamilton City on the edge of Lake Areare. House originally built as small privately owned recuperation retreat which we converted to our wonderful family home. With children having left for adventures of their own, we would like to share our home, local attractions and delicious meals in return for practical help weeding and tidying in our sprawling [unruly] garden, and jobs around the house. We have private space with a separate bathroom for 2 single people or a couple. Whilst we can help with transport, we suggest having your own vehicle would be more practical.

We moved to the countryside 4 years ago from Auckland . Our aim is to live off the land as much as we can.
We are working towards growing our own food forest and need a bit of help every now and then with gardening, section clearing, small painting jobs and keeping the place tidy.

Our lifestyle block has chickens, ducks and sheep.

We can provide healthy home cooked meals, and a cozy cottage bedroom.
We have two bedrooms available.
Stays would be for 3-5 days maximum.

We are a farming family about an hour and a half south of Auckland, managing a Hereford stud operation. We have three children and many animals. We have a guest room for a single or couple to stay in our home. I work three days a week in Pukekohe so can pick up from train station or would need own car as there is no public transport. We would love to have someone who is willing to help around the house and with the children and there are many jobs around here, or at times there will be a chance to get out on the farm. We can only accommodate non smokers.
We are a very social family and love going out and visiting different places and having fun with our kids. We have full access to the farm and have fun in the tree house, out in the garden and going for walks on the farm.

Hi, we are based in Waitetuna, 15 minutes drive from Raglan (the home of great surfing, coffee, arts & music) and 20 minutes to Hamilton, on a 1.2ha (3 acre) lifestyle block.

We have two dogs, one cat, three ponies, one horse and one sheep. We are also parents to three girls (aged 9, 7 & 2.5).

We are a busy family and so are after someone who can help with house cleaning, gardening/mowing lawns and helping with the children so we can spend our weekends together rather than doing all the chores. Depending on the time of year I may need a hand with the horses.

We would prefer short stays, Monday through to Friday.

We have both traveled (we met each other whilst on our OE) and would love our daughters to get a taste of other cultures.

We have a single room available, however could accommodate a couple if need be. We are new to this but look forward to meeting new people and showing them some kiwi hospitality.
