We are Iyengar yoga practitioners and teachers living in the forest and cultivating a lot of our food. We welcome folks staying and taking classes and working for board and teaching. We are not vegetarians but cater for them. We run a yoga school in Rotorua City teaching detail self transformation and deep intense body work, breath work and meditation. Having been a Woofer host for 30 years I have seen all types of helpers and what works best here is when folks come open to learning, working, and practicing yoga and meditation as a dedicated member of society and wanting to touch a contemplative linage method to understand consciousness and motivation and transcendental wisdom. Currently gardening harvesting and firewood are ongoing work.

Family home with me, Tony and 3 girls aged 10, 11 and 16, a dog and a cat. We need a house and pet sitter and some odd jobs done (2-3 hours per day) over Easter (Thu 29 March - Tuesday 3 April) while we are away. Own room and shared bathroom. You would need to provide most of your own food while we are away. The beach is 7 minutes away by car. There is a bus that goes regularly over the hill. We are a 5 minute walk from the local shops and the main town centre is 20 minutes walk or we have bicycles you can use. There are plenty of sights locally and within an hours drive of Whakatane.

We're a friendly family who love having international visitors. We did a lot of travel before we had children and now we have two boys aged 3 and 5.
We're having another baby (a girl this time!), due on April 23rd and it would be absolutely amazing to have someone come and stay for around 3 weeks (could be more or less) around that time to help us with house cleaning and tidying, entertaining the boys and who can be here when the baby decides to arrive so that we can leave the boys at home and go off to the hospital!!
We need someone that has experience working with kids, and even better, experience working with kids with behavioural needs. Our 5 year old has ADHD so you will need patience, a kind heart and not be afraid to step in when needed.
We have 2 bikes here that you are free to use to explore the area.
We would like to offer free accommodation and food in return for 4-5 hours work a day (due to the nature of what we are asking for, this is negotiable - ie. if you work m... more inside

We are a very busy recently retired couple living in a very beautiful part of the world. We have grownup Children and grand children living nearby.

We are keen cyclists and members of warm showers and enjoy very much helping and hosting interesting vistor's to our place our district and our country.

We have a large garden area which we continue to develop, we also have a small kiwifruit orchard on a neighbouring property. We also have a bush block that we would like to enhance by trapping pests and removing non native plants. Another recent development is that we are involved in a new venture with our children building tinyhouses some of which we are renting out.

Life is busy and getting some help from time to time in exchange for providing food and accommodation just might make life a little easier and even more enjoyable.

Accommodation is a separate double room with en suite, free wifi. Meals are in the main house. In exchange, your help would be 20 hrs over 1 week... more inside

Kia ora and welcome to the Eastern Bay of Plenty!

Our home is a small mandarin orchard (about 300 trees) overlooking farmland, the Waiotahe estuary and sea. We provide excellent accommodation - good size bedroom and own bathroom (see photos), along with great meals and wifi. This is in exchange for work (4 hours a day) in the orchard, gardens, around the property or in the house.

It would be wonderful to have a couple to help us out thinning mandarins and other jobs, anytime this week starting Tuesday 20th March.

In your spare time you can enjoy the beautiful beaches, rivers and bush that surround our area. Opotiki township is 10 minutes drive away and has great coffee and an awesome public library.

You will need your own transport and we are non smokers.

We are currently looking for a pair of international travellers to help with gardening/landscaping and housework for a week between the 13th and 20th of April. As it is a double bed in the room we provide, it is best suited to a couple.

We are offering the 3 main meals daily and accommodation in return for 5 hours of help a day for a week with 1 day off (30 hours each in total). You can plan these hours flexibly, i.e. if you wish to work 4 days full-time and have the other 3 off, this can be arranged.

Alternatively, If you want to provide your own food, cook and clean up afterwards, then you would only need to work 3 and a half hours per day (again, this is flexible as above)

I am planning to build a shed, lay some cobbles and cut back and dump some bushes in the garden so need someone fairly strong to help me. My partner is studying so needs some help with housework and looking after our 2 children.

We live in Lake Okareka, about 70 metres from the boat ramp/jetty/beac... more inside
