We run a Salmon farm and café in a beautiful pristine south westland rainforest.
Come and stay with us to discover this unique place where the fishing and hunting as well as beautiful bushwalks will amaze you. We are located in a remote valley so if you want to discover a unique kiwi lifestyle this is the place for you!

We are looking for enthusiastic people to help us do the clean up at the café at the end of the day for 3 to 4 hours in exchange for accommodation and food.

We are a married couple on a small farm with beef stock, 5 cows, sheep (and lambs) and one cat. We eat a simple, basic diet which includes meat. We are looking for assistance with fencing, farming, mechanical work, welding, engineering, general farm maintenance and stock work. There is also a huge amount of other work we are trying to achieve. Of course there is always firewood (and we try to keep our helpers as warm as we like to be!) We prefer not to have children as we do not have the accomodation for them, sorry. Thanks very much for your interest.

My farm is situated on the coast with an estuary along the front with a river as its northern boundary, native bush at the back. I can offer seperate accomodation , a self contained flat with all ammenities. The farm is run as a dairy grassing block running young replacement heifers. I will require help with general farm duties, no level of experience is required just a liking of working with and around animals. If you also enjoy fishing, swimming or kayaking this would be an added bonus as these activities are on your doorstep. Own transport would be preferable as I am 7km from main highway and a further 15km to nearest town.

We have got a lovely little farm right by the coast line. We are a family of 3 - dad works in Aussie for 2 weeks and home for 2 weeks and our little baby girl who is 13 months. We are transforming and renovating the house, barn and the old milking shed. We are also reconstructing the paddocks and doing new fences so it is ready for the horses when the come back. We have just put in a veggie garden, We have got 2 awesome dogs Mac and Jock. Horses - are in Cantebury at the moment, 3 semi big cows which are on our other property just south of Greymouth.
We have got a great caravan set up viewing the beach. A few quad bikes which are great to take through the farm to the beach.
We enjoy surfing, tramping, outdoors, riding.
Lots of barbecue in summer.
We work hard and full on at this moment and would really like to have few extra helping hands.
We live just 12 km south of Punakaiki and are surrounded by heaps of tramping options.
Prefer to host min 2 pers at a time. We are l... more inside

Hi my name is Jas and I'm looking for nice helpers for the work on my dairy farm with 1000 cows on 400 hectares land.
If you're happy to help us with our everyday work, one of your jobs would be to help milking the cows (working clothes and 4-wheeler are available for you). At the moment we milk them on three different sheds once a day. Calving season starts during August and September. The next months we are busy with milking the cows twice a day.
, but therefore you have plenty of time to do something with the rest of the day! You could visit the Franz Josef Glaciers (just 30 minutes drive from here - there is also a car available for you) or go fishing on the farm.

We welcome everybody who wants to stay here!
The countryside is beautiful out here, you might be happier when you come as a couple or in a small group. You'll have your own cottage near to the house where me and my family live, and cook your own food.

We are always happy to meet new people from all over th... more inside
