Hello Visitors,

If you like helping around the house and working in the garden (weeding, mowing, brush-cutting, spending time with children then please feel free to contact me. We live outside the town centre of Byron Bay, near a beach on a beautiful property. I have enjoyed having woofers and lots of visitors from Helpx in the past and have had break for a while.
A little bit about my family. I have three young boys and I am a vegetarian and they are not. So if you are either, that is totally o.k. I do not smoke nor drink so I would prefer someone who doesn't smoke nor drink in the house. I am also at university studying and my interests lie in meditation and yoga with lots of other activities. My boys play a lot of sports and are busy most times. If you are you are enthusiastic,self-driven, fun, peaceful and willing to experience the local culture please contact me as I look forward to meeting you. Thank you.

Happy helpers welcome anytime, preferably experienced or skilled in any of the following: gardening - carpentry - chainsaws - permaculture.

We are setting up a community-based arts space on our property just outside of Tomerong, a tiny village 7kms inland from Huskisson and 10 mins drive from the beautiful surfing beaches of Jervis Bay.

We have a quiet bush block, with many trees, abundant bird life, wallabies, and a large mob of kangaroos just next door.

Akira is a sculptor and lives on the property full-time. Kerry divides her week between Tomerong and Sydney. We have friends and helpers coming and going. Accommodation includes some small out-houses and more structures are planned. We have begun building an area for visitors and helpers to relax in and would love help from skilled people with creativity and ideas to develop this project.

Besides the outhouses, there are 2 caravans (with room for 2 in each), a roof overhead, a camp kitchen, a wood-fired pizza oven, ... more inside

We have two properties, both with large ponds, that have been planted with market gardens and/or commercial bamboo. We are in the process of weeding out some of the plants and bamboo, and preparing a site for building of a home and shed. We require a couple of able-bodied people to help us. Non-smokers only, please.

We live in a beautiful off-the-grid self-sustainable co-op about 20 minutes from Crescent Head, which is a renowned surfing beach. We border a large national forest. We can provide a large camper screened room with a queen-size off-the-floor bed, with some bedding. We will provide meals. We ask for 4 hours of labour a day for 5 days a week.

Mostly we need help with cleaning and gardening projects: weeding, planting, mulching, looking after the vegie garden and for those that can handle machines: ride on mowing and whippersnipping.

We are particularly keen to have people with: building, carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying, tiling, electrical, sewing, IT (web design), audio and video skills, as we have many projects on the go.

We also do audio visual installations at events on the weekends and often need help setting up and operating sound systems, lights and... more inside
