Hi, we are a family run Wildlife Park located on the beautiful Great Ocean Road. Our goal as a family is to create an all self sustaining sanctuary. We've begun this project nearly a decade ago, moving steadily forward. As well as Maintaining our 40 acre property along with its/our animals, we work towards self sustainability. We run a small café and of course our wildlife park.

We are looking for one helper to stay a minimum of one month starting ASAP. Work would include daily park upkeep (raking leaves, animal feeding, vegie garden work.. etc) and occasional café and kitchen help. Hospitality experience and barista skills would be great. Roughly 6 hours of work a day, 6 days a week in exchange for food and board, and an excellent learning opportunity.

One week trial basis.

You will be staying in a small cosy caravan with an extension room. Fireplace, kitchen and outdoor bathroom will allow you your privacy.

Looking for a helper from August in Melbournne

We have a busy family home in inner Melbourne suburb of East Brunswick. We live in a very cool suburb, 5 km from Melbourne CBD. It is a vibrant local area with loads of parks, bars, cafes and restaurants and culture, with trams right here to get you into the city in 20 minutes.

We would like to exchange 20-25hours of light work for room and board. We are looking for a helpx helper who is willing to help with housekeeping, gardening, maybe some cooking and painting,and to pick up kids from school. We enjoy welcoming helpers to our home to enjoy some cultural exchange. We would prefer someone to stay 1 month or more if possible, but shorter stays are possible.

We are an energetic family who are busy with lots of sports, study and work. We are up early in the mornings so if you like your sleep ins you need not apply. We also try to live in a sustainable way, and would love a helper who has a green atttitude.

We live on ten acres just ten minutes from Seymour. We are looking for someone to help with gardening, looking after and cleaning cottages and doing a bit of house sitting while we work on some catering leading up to Christmas. Dates required are from 18th October For a couple of weeks. We have a dog cat, chooks, alpacas and so travellers must love animals. NEAR Great Ocean Road

COME AND VISIT US.... spring is the best time of year here....you will love it FROM beginning of September!

We are a large dairy farm (with 400 cows) and with some token sheep (50 sheep) in south west Victoria. We have 3 young children (izzy, fin and tiah) and also have 2 alpacas (Bindy and brandy) a dog (Monty), a cat (Bolt) and occasionally have a resident koala, heaps of kangaroos by the blue gum plantations and lots of native bird life.

We are in a beautiful and magical part of south west Vic and are less than 40 minutes from the western part of the Great Ocean Road (Port Campbell, Warrnambool and Peterborough). We are also 20 minutes from lovely Timboon, 1.25hrs from Forrest, 1.5hrs from the Grampians and Lorne and 3 hrs west of Melbourne. So we can provide a great base from which to explore!

We are only 5-10 minutes drive to Terang where there is a decent supermarket (iga) and all your needs eg post office, bottlo, news agent, coffee shop, do... more inside

We now sell our plants at 4 markets a month on the Mornington Peninsula.
Our house is large with a bedroom & bathroom for helpers either single or double beds
Work would entail outdoor work, watering, cutting back plants, trimming hedges and load vehicles.
We have had several young people live & work with us over the past 20 years & still keep in touch with them. We live in an interesting area with beaches, vineyards & walking tracks within 5 kms. We have bikes you can borrow to explore the area. We are vegetarian but eat fish so are happy to provide you with healthy meals. Work is usually 4-5 hours a day with two days off but we appreciate it if you can help us to load and unload plants for Saturday markets

Nestled in the foothills of Kinglake National Park sits the Moon Spoon ranch, every evolving into our dream property for our young family of 4. We have built a rammed earth, solar passive home that backs onto endless pristine national park loaded with native flora and fauna.
Our patch of paradise began 6 year ago when we moved into a W class tram, which is now the self-contained accommodation that we offer to you. The tram is private from the house and has 3 carriages: bedroom, lounge and kitchen with an outdoor bathroom. It can accommodate up to 2 guests. Our property is remote, so your own vehicle would be helpful however not essential as there is a train station 20 mins away. There are loads of bush walks and an alternative market nearby on Saturday mornings.
We are establishing around 50 fruit trees, a big veggie patch, have chickens and a dog. We need some help with gardening, cleaning and general maintenance.

We ask for an average of 3-4 hours work a day in exchange for board and lodging . We eat mainly vegetarian but If you have more specific dietary needs you may have to provide them for yourself .

We are a happy Australian family living half an hour east of Melbourne city.
We have room for up to 2 travellers to do homestay in an Aussie home. We can teach you Australian cooking, help with English and show you Australian culture and tradition. We have two children aged 9 and 10 who are a lot of fun and one cat. We listen to music, cook and study :)
