We are a non-profit, volunteer-operated centre, where the retreats are facilitated by the enthusiastic work of people dedicated to making each visit a success.

We welcome volunteers in a variety of areas and aim to place you in a role that utilises your strengths and stimulates your interest. Because we run both a retreat centre and organic garden, volunteer positions are available in every aspect of service, from helping hands in the kitchen to working in the garden.

We especially appreciate helpers with skills in permaculture, carpentry, building, driving tractors and agriculture.

Hi,
We are on a 60 acre farm in the out skirts of Melbourne.
50 minutes from the CBD in a N/E direction.
My husband & 3 children have lived here for 20 yrs.
We have 16 horses & 5 agistees.
It's a busy farm and never a dull moment.
We have chickens, peacocks, 2 xdogs, 1 rabbit & 2 kangaroos but predominantly horses. There are many different disciplines that horses & riders compete in from eventing, dressage, endurance, showing & trail.
We live in the green wedge to Melbourne with the kinglake ranges in close riding distance. There is abundant wildlife from kangaroos, wombats, foxes, owls, deer & oodles of bird life.
We need an energetic, dynamic person who can use their initiative and work without much supervision. Someone who is motivated, creative and full of life to start. Room, board, wifi available.
Drivers license necessary.
Experience helps & speaking English essential

Our home is a majestic lifestyle property on the edge of Ballarat and the Creswick State forest.
We are a busy family of 5, and are always happy to have a traveller assist us with our wonderful garden and orchard.

We ask for 4 hours of help per day. Things to do depends on the season, but involves assisting with our vegetable garden, our general gardens and the orchard. We ask that you be self motivated and willing to pitch in with our family

With an abundance of wonderful birds and kangaroos along with our resident cat, Tim, there are lots to see and enjoy during your stay with us.

We can speak a little French, and like to have you as part of our family, sharing meals, conversation, even watching Netflix together while you stay with us.

WE have free Wifi, your own bedroom and bathroom, as well as recreational facilities (pool, tennis court) which you are welcome to use.

cheers

We are currently working on our garden during the busy spring time. There is always ... more inside

You can see my profile for more details or watch this video of us and our place. Basically I have a house where we host lots of folk and grow lots of food. We have had some fabulous helpers from this site who have helped with lots of great super projects. Sing out if you want to come and play. Paul

If you write to us that you advise when you might want to come, how long you might want to stay and if you want to work 2 hours for accom only or four for accom and meals.

We also play on airbnb and the site asks for rules for our home. We don't like to live by heaps of rules but here is what we have there to give you an idea ... more inside

Hi All,
Thank you, we have all the helpers we need for now. Safe travels.

We live in a beautiful part of Victoria, in a Valley nestled between mountains.
Our farm is 40 hectares (100 acres), including 5 acres of certified organic kiwi fruit.
We also have beef cattle, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, chickens and ducks, a large vegetable/herb garden and fruit orchard.
We are a family run farm with my sister and our parents here as well.
Work includes pruning, thinning, picking/packing (April, May), gardening, animal husbandry and general farm duties.
Accommodation is in a cabin, a private double room or shared dorm style.
We offer delicious meals, beautiful views and an easy going lifestyle.
Plenty of hiking, bush walking and bike riding to do.
Meat-based meals.
Non-smokers preferred.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Tina and Leigh
