Hi there - we have 5 beautiful acres on Mt Mee with an assortment of animals, including 2 dogs, 9 sheep, a goat, chickens, geese and ducks. The land is reasonably low maintenance, plenty of lush lawn (we have a ride-on mower, tractor and a golf cart) native trees, huge dam that has a pier setup. We have a decent size aquaponic setup that is easy peasy to monitor and feeds us plenty. We have a beautiful quiet property and are located 15 minutes from the closest town Dayboro, and an hour to the city and airport. We`re trying to set ourselves up to be self sustainable and use some permaculture principals. Our animals are our friends and not being raised for consumption - we are vegetarian but you can cook and eat meat if you need to. We have internet connection, no landline, no town water and no rubbish pickup. We use our own harvested rainwater for house use and dam water for the garden and animal ponds/drinking water. We have a few restaurants and cafes nearby - our mountain is a... more inside

We would like help as soon as possible.

We have a self contained shared accommodation so you can have your own space and cook you own meals to your liking. We will provide the food, accommodation and WI FI IN exchange for help on the animal farm.

NO SMOKERS PLEASE. My husband is an asthmatic and the smell of smoke triggers attacks.

My wife Josie and I run a sugar cane farm, alpaca stud and miniature animal farm in the Pioneer Valley.

On our farm we do a number of things from the Sugar Cane side of things to sheering of the Alpacas once a year, farm tours, outings with the animals and general maintenance of the Alpaca Stud and Miniature Animal Farm.

My wife Josie needs assistance with the running and general maintenance of the Alpaca and miniature animal farm.
We would love to have young lady to come stay with us and to assist Josie with her day to day work and so that we get the privilege of showing someone of the younger generation how things work on ... more inside

**Full until mid-July 2019. If looking to help after then, please message us!!**

Situated in tropical North Queensland, Ross and Locke sits on the picturesque sandy Mulgrave River, 31km south south-west of Cairns. We are building a 34 hectare regenerative, organic permaculture development working to produce a wide variety of heirloom fruit and vegetables, spices and herbs, in a food forest setting. Future projects will also include bee keeping, egg production, boutique sugar production and many more activities.

We are looking for helpers to undertake a variety of tasks on the farm, in exchange for accommodation and meals.
Helpers are asked to assist for 4-6 hours a day with plenty of flexibility; morning is more suited to work in the tropical environment. Weekends are yours to relax and explore! 2 weeks is recommended to get into the swing of the farm and enjoy the area; longer stays are welcome by mutual agreement. Small groups and couples as well as individual helpers are... more inside

I have a beautiful home on the ridge in Elanora on the Gold Coast, South East Queensland, Australia. It is in a Koala sanctuary, surrounded by bush and wildlife. Often you will see wallabies grazing in the back yard, and if you are patient, also koala’s in the trees. You definitely will hear the latter even if you do not see them!
There are plenty of bush walks around my house for you to explore the native wildlife.

In my opinion (and many helpers that I have hosted) my offer is a great opportunity to live in a very special part of the Gold Coast. The property is set in bushland but is only five (5) minutes drive to Currumbin Beach and close to other beaches and Shopping Centres. The Pines Shopping Centre is the closest to my home and provides all that you would need. I have found most helpex people are not into large shopping centres and prefer beaches and wilderness which my property has in spades.
I would prefer a couple as I have found that better for me and you can ... more inside

We are a retired couple growing fruit and vegetables for family and friends.
We do it out of interest only-not to sell. Our other interest is sailing-we often go over to Fraser Island in a live aboard sailboat. The trip over to the island is regarded as sheltered water sailing.
We have a spare room under our high blocked house for Helpxers with your own shower and toilet.
We grow sub tropical fruit -particularly mangoes where we have about 40 varieties.
The help needed is with the routine tasks such as mulching trees however interested persons can see grafting and other horticultural practices. There will be plenty of time to explore the local area also. We can help you to get to Fraser Island or if you don't mind sailing you can join us in a sailing trip there.
