We have a beef cattle farm about 4 hours travel from Brisbane. Helpers are very welcome at our place but at this time the Australian government does not allow Helpx work to qualify for your second year visa. But we still welcome helpers and you will learn skills to help you obtain farm work in other areas. Please ask any questions I am happy to answer.

We live on a standard house block which is conveniently located on the northern side of Cairns.
Our home was built in the 1940s and is a classic Queensland timber home and therefore requires ongoing maintenance.
We require help with a variety of maintenance tasks, gardening, cleaning (removing mould from walls and ceilings). It can be VERY hot and humid in Cairns in the wet season so many of our helpx find it best to work early (6am to 10) or late in the afternoon (4 to 7pm). I think the work would mostly suit a couple at the moment or 2 males.
My husband and I both work full time and hence we would love to have you come and help us maintain our home.
This position would suit non smokers only.
We require 21 hours per week of work from each person in exchange for accommodation, and meals. We are very flexible with how the 21 hours are completed across the week.
We prefer short term stays (a week to 10 days) as our accommodation is also listed on airb...

I live in a lovely little community called Beerwah.
Beerwah has shops, cafes, restaurants and a railway station. I love my town as everything I need is handy but it isnt overcrowded like coastal towns are.
Beerwah is about an hour drive from Brisbane city or a 30 minute drive to Caloundra or Mooloolaba beaches (trains and buses can take you also). Also 30 minutes away are two towns popular to tourists: Maleny and Montville.
Beerwah is near the Glass House Mountains - and I will be happy to show you these as the views from the top are amazing! People of most fitness levels can reach the top.
My little home will provide you with your own double bed, bedside table and a set of drawers for your clothing. Powerpoints to charge your phone or camera are in the room also. I have internet, which you are welcome to use.
My focus is outdoor landscaping at the moment. I have a dream to have a little self-sustainable garden one day and each little job gets me closer to this goa...

We have a beautiful 80 acre farm on the banks of a lovely river. We are currently focusing on moving from ‘self-sufficient’ to hopefully making the farm into more of a business (while also maintaining our organic, regenerative ethics). We have a big vegetable garden, fruit trees and an amazing river that is good for swimming (no crocs). We are in the beginning of adding a 5 acre syntropic orchard, a small perennial market garden, a commercial greenhouse and a small cash-crop of vanilla. If these projects interest you, please get in touch! Our daughters are 2.5years old, and 4 months old. They are lovely, grounded girls, however combining two kids with a busy farm and animals is sometimes chaos! Marc’s dad lives in a converted barn on the farm, and speaks German (and English). We have several dairy goats, a small herd of dairy/miniature beef cattle, 3 untrained horses, 4 dogs, and chickens, ducks and geese.
We are looking for people to help with the day-to-day running of the ...
