***We are looking for somebody starting in May***

We are a multicultural family of 4, an Italian and a white Jamaican, two kids English and Scottish, 11 and 4 years old. We live in the heart of Edinburgh in a six bedroom Victorian house split over three floors.

After almost three years in trading now our B&B is blooming, with all three rooms to capacity. We are currently seeking helpers to assist in all daily activities and chores in running the B & B. These include but are not limited to changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning showers, mopping, sweeping and refilling room essentials. These duties take priority over anything else while staying with us. It will take about one week for you to be properly trained on our processes and daily workload. On a typical day, it will take 3 to 4 hours to complete your B & B tasks. Some helpers that are more efficient can get these done in less time. If you complete these tasks in less time, there are a myriad of opportunities for ... more inside

We are a friendly family who, 4 years ago moved to our smallholding in a beautiful spot at the foot of the Cheviot Hills in the Scottish Borders. We are starting from scratch turning a bare field into an organic veg and fruit plot and home for animals. We need help with all sorts of things: digging and planting; erecting stock-fencing; building a tree house; growing food from seed; maintaining the veg plot and hedging; painting the inside and outside of the house; looking after the dogs and chickens; help around the house. If you can turn up, fit in and help out then we can look after you!! We had Helpxers for the past few years: it was a great experience and we got loads of jobs done and made new friends. We're a pretty laid-back lot (except the labradoodles who are pretty nuts!). Have a look at our references if you are interested in coming here.
