We are a volunteer driven project working with creating solutions for a sustainable society; incorporating energy and recycling as well as social/economic structures. We aim to make such solutions practical and scalable for application from Copenhagen to Cambodia, on land as well as on the sea.

What's Happening Right Now?
We are working on various artistic and technical projects, improving the comfort on the boats, making fun community activities to bring everyone closer together.

We welcome volunteers of all skill levels and ambition. If you have specialised skills (as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, or engineer), we would be excited to welcome you. However, it´s not the only condition.

Our Goals:
Our daily work is primarily concentrated around building ships out of recycled/organic materials to form a "Floating Course Center"

This will be a travelling platform for skill-sharing, and work as inspiration for sustainable structures and alternative organic design.

(Cant host at the moment, maybe again in summer 2020 )

I just moved from Copenhagen to a small house in the south of Fyn.

Inside, most of the need to jobs are done. But outside there is still a lot to do

- Establish no dig beds
- Make compost
- Build Chicken coop
- Replace ornamental plants with eatable plants
- Propagate plants
- Collect seaweed on the beach for the garden
- Replace old pavement

In the kitchen:
Prepare vegetarian meals
Bake bread
Make jams, chutneys, ketchups and relishes.
Gather wild berries and nuts in surrounding nature

Now two hours away from Copenhagen. But I can pick you up at the nearest train station (Stenstrup).

I offer simple meals and accommodation for 4-5 hours work/day including taking part in everday cores like help cooking, cleaning etc. I have been vegetarian for almost 20 years, but have recently started to eat some meat, but the meals will still predominantly be vegetarian -like 99,9 %.

Skills I c... more inside

We could need some extra help in April or May. We are a couple (35and 36)living on a smal farm with 2 horses, a dog and a cat. We live close to a smal village called Vrådal in South Norway. Our farm is located 50 meter from the beautiful lake Nisser. Vrådal is a popular tourist destination both summer and winter because of its nature. You can easily make daytrips to the coastline, the mountain plateau Hardangervidda and to the capital Oslo.

On our farm we have 5 popular rental cabins, forestry and some agriculture. We need help with forestry work, painting, fencing and feeding the animals etc.

We are looking for 1 or 2 nice persons to help out at the farm. You will work 25 hours a week. We prefer that you speek english or german.

We offer: All meals will be provided for. Free access to wi-fi. You can borrow bikes, boats, kayaks, join on riding tors, fishing equipments etc.

We prefer helpers willing to stay for at least 14 days.

Our kennel has 34 Alaskan Huskies and is owned by Stein Havard Fjestad. We are a racing kennel and our goal is to develop each athlete to the best of their potential. We have both young dogs and racing veterans. They are all being trained to compete in Scandinavia's major sled dog races.

Competing at the highest level, also demands a high level of care: It's a full-time job, and even considered a lifestyle, to keep all four-legged athletes happy and healthy. To provide the best care, Fjestad has a support crew of handlers who help take care of the dogs, train them and assist during races.

Helpers are involved in all daily activities like training the dogs, preparing dogfood, feeding and freerunning(playtime!). In spring, summer and fall, the dogs are trained with an ATV, therefore helpers need to have a drivers license.
We are located in Tufsingdalen. A perfect place for peace-seekers and nature-lovers. Helpers will share a house together with the hosts and have each their ... more inside

This is an old house which from time to time needs some extra attention. There can be gardening, carpentry, help with electrics. I'm the only human in this house but there's a lot of dogs and cats who needs some attention. Horses surrounding the property. My main project now is to separate the dogs from rest of the farm by building a fence to keep them close to me and the house.
In the house there's a lot of jobs as painting and looking after the building.
There will also be time to work with the Icelandic horses in the stable nearby.
Whole this "paradise" is situated in a very green spot just between Stockholm city and Arlanda, the airport.

Where East meets West, half way between Oslo and Bergen, is our historic farm situated 750 meters above sea level in the beautiful mountain village Leveld, surrounded by forest and mountains.

This historic farm has been in the family for generations, and many of the houses date back to 1865. Now it is our turn to take over and give new spirit to the place, and we hope you will join us in the process. The main income of the farm is to run the 9 tourist cabins. At the moment we have decided to give them a new and updated look, and this is the main focus. Spring or atumn is usually the best time to come.
About us: We are a family with 3 children (11, 15 and 18). Tone grew up on the farm and Pascal grew up in New Zealand/Australia.

Work: Painting and restoring the cabins are our priorities at the moment. If you have an interest in interior design/ photoes or web developement that could also come handy. Besides work might include, house keeping, child minding, gardening, landscap... more inside
