We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 10 & 8. Paul is a musician & landscape architect and advanced ashtanga yoga practitioner. Valley is a director of a thriving local outdoor theatre company.
We regularly work at local festivals (Splendour in the Grass, Falls Music Festival, Circus Festival, Mullumbimby Music Festival) and enjoy being involved in community activities.
The children go the local Steiner School, are very musical and also go to the local Circus School called Spaghetti Circus in Mullumbimby.

*** Currently we are looking for a mid to long term guest to help with our preparations for sheep, and for winter. There will also be some house sitting, as we are away for parts of March**

Welcome to the beautiful Far South Coast of NSW.
The countryside here is rolling hills, forests, big skies and rugged coastline.

I'm Ben, and I live here with my mum Nina. We are establishing a small non-commercial farm using the principles of Permaculture.

We are looking for people that are used to outdoor work.
We will happily work together with you on the everyday tasks such as feeding animals, chopping wood, and caring for the house and garden.

We are also happy to find experienced people that work more independently.

We are building gardens and paths, a small earth hut.

As we're about 15 minutes from town, having your own car is a plus, for your independence.

Hi ,,, I am looking for people that would like to experience life on a "post aquarius festival" Nimbin land sharing community. I am offering travellers cultural insight into local alternative culture and accommodation in my self built home. In exchange I ask for some for some help with various things that need to be done here.... Nursery work, some general garden maintenance, help with building if you are crafty, maybe some mowing, tending the veggie garden, sharing ideas and experiences to help me create a more comprehensively sustainable living environment.
The help that i need differs according to the seasons and different projects that are being worked on and also in which way you are talented or inclined.
My house is 8 km from Nimbin so your own transport is useful although i do have a bicycle you can use or and go to nimbin most days so can show you around the place and I have WIFI and mains power, Beautiful views , extensive gardens, waterfalls and swimming holes.

My name is Christina and my property has 1000 Macadamia trees, garlic production, sweet potato, turmeric, chooks and duck, various fruits and vegetables which are seasonal. March/April is garlic planting time and the Macadamias are also starting to fall!! We eat from the organic food grown on the farm. My property has some rainforest, which is a koala corridor. Valla beach is a couple of min. from my farm, and a lovely place to recreate after work, or for a morning wake up swim before starting the day. My home was built at the turn of the 20th century, and has an old world charm. There are five bedrooms, a composting toilet and bathroom shared by all the residents.
This is an animal friendly home with 5 cats and three dogs. If you are good with animals, you are very welcome!
Look forward to the Xchange :-)
