We are a sheep and horse farm in beautiful Clevedon in East Auckland. In the summer we play polo, in winter we run sheep. The photos show the driveway to the farm, and the 'Hacienda' helper accommodation which looks over the farm. Most of our helpers do general farmwork - helping with fencing, tidying up after floods, weeding, watering etc. Our helpers work with Barry, our farm manager. We do not normally cook for our helpers, but either provide food (for four hours work) or provide money for food if you like to buy yourselves. Many of our helpers choose to work full days, then take advantage of our proximity to attractions (the Coromandel, Waiheke, Auckland etc) to travel from here.

The jungle has received a huge amount of wonderful helper care and is feeling SO GOOD.We are the winter period where no maintenance is done, so when we get into the late spring period and then we will need those special helpers which we have been so lucky to have so far.Do read the REVIEWS about us. The vegetable garden needs a little help too, to give the results that only friendly helpx hands can create. If you would like to help its not too difficult just letting our jungle breathe again If you like beaches, parks and the odd volcano then this little place might be the place for you.

This is a centre for well being, creativity and earth based spirituality set on beautiful land with direct expansive views of sky, bush and sea. It is a place where people can come to experience their connection with themselves, one another and Nature.I am developing it as a venue for house concerts and outdoor music and dance events, informal music sessions with friends and visitors, sound healing and communal celebration of the cycles of Nature.
Help is needed with establishing and maintaining gardens and orchards, clearing weeds, sawing firewood, maintenance and construction work, housework and cooking . I am presently trialling different methods of combating the disease which is devastating the kauri trees and particularly welcome those who would like to help with this important work

In exchange for 24 hours of focused work a week I offer comfortable accommodation, delicious and wholesome vegetarian meals and the opportunity to enter into experiences that may prove life ... more inside

Looking for a friendly couple to stay from Thursday 16th August for a week, departing Friday 24th.
A small amount of light garden work (weeding/raking) as spring has sprung early in my garden.
Ideally, you will be available around the home from Friday - Sunday to keep an eye on a couple of teenagers, dinners, hanging out in the evening, light housework.
Murphy would love a regular long walk and run at the Botanic Gardens or Totara Park (within 10 minutes walk).
If you feel like a project and have carpentry skills, I have some wooden Cape Cod chairs to be put together. (A school fundraiser purchase, needing sanding and often a bit of re-shaping to put together. Not my best purchase!)

What we would like...
Looking for fun, outgoing and friendly couples to stay with me and my family on a lifestyle block in rural South Auckland. Timeframes are very flexible and negotiable. Your time commitment is 4 hours per day with weekends to yourself to explore the countryside or hang... more inside

LOOKING FOR HELP August for a week

Our home is next to a national park and there are many beautiful walks to be had locally. We also live 10minutes from a West Coast beach, popular with surfers.
A car will often be available for you to use and we can collect you from central Auckland and take you to the airport when you depart NZ - perhaps we'll be your first or last stop here in aotearoa?!
We are looking for someone to stay from Mid May (2018) until the end of the month, to mainly help with housework.
This is a sweet deal for the right person as the room is beautiful - overlooking the sea and with a sunrise view.

We are living in a beautiful spot of the Waitakeres, where there are tracks straight into the bush.
Accomodation is in a hut in the forest, we live pretty basic but comfortable (- internet and phone reception is good).
We work with wild medicinal plants.

Where possible we grow and eat our own veges.
Tasks include processing plants, harvesting, cleaning, planting, fertilising, chopping wood, cooking with wild plants etc.
We have had some super great HelpX people over the last year and have really enjoyed their company.
Close to beaches and 35 minute drive to Auckland central.
Couples welcome*
