I have so enjoyed the helpxers who have stayed and achieved so much on my property.
Currently I need help with spring gardening, and possibly some basic building- chicken house door, shelter for sheep and some green insulation.

I live on a lifestyle block, in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges, West Auckland.

I have a double room available. The usual is to give a place to stay and food, in exchange for four hours of your energy each day. You are welcome to come and help 4 hours each day, OR put in an 8 hour Saturday day then enjoy a free Sunday, OR 6 hours for 2 days to have one day free.

In line with my concern for the environment, while most Auckland residents have their poos pumped to the harbours, I have chosen composting toilets.
Although registered as organic really I am only spray free (not a helpx category yet), which means there is so much to do on the property. I have a few sheep, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, so help is needed with weeding, gardening, cle... more inside

Our 6-hectare farm is located in a lovely valley, about 30 minutes from Auckland city. Alan and I have four horses, a couple of old pet sheep, one dog, and two cats. From time to time we need help with some of the physical jobs around the farm such as spreading mulch, gardening, and other farm jobs. We enjoy meeting people from other cultures and other countries. Guests will live in the house with us. There is one large bedroom with a king size bed and one smaller bedroom with a single bed. Guests have their own bathroom facilities. In return for work 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week we provide accommodation and all food. We prefer guests with their own transport as it is a 20 minute drive to get to shops or public transport.

Hi there,

I live alone and own a very nice and comfortable three bedroom townhouse which has two balconies and a courtyard. It is located in Auckland city centre in a tree lined residential street and backs onto a park. There is also off-street parking available if you have a car. The house has all modern conveniences including free UFB WiFi. There is a spare fully furnished double bedroom available for a male visitor who is friendly, helpful, non-smoking, clean and tidy. It is ideal for someone who wants to use the city centre as a base.

I am currently in the middle of getting my courtyard repaved so it doesn't now look anything like the pictures, however I hope it soon will again.

I am looking for someone who is happy to do cleaning, painting outdoor furniture, gardening and cooking. Ideally suited to an open minded guy who has proven handyman skills. Number of hours per day is negotiable but probably three to four.

I'm well travelled and familiar with many... more inside
