Hi there - we are seeking helpers right now!

Jobs at present are spring cleaning our house, gardening, child minding and helping build a three bay shed.

We are a family of three (Mum, Dad and 8 year old Jack) with plenty of pets, farm animals and lots to do!

We live on a farm and jobs will vary, and may include general farm maintenance, gardening, painting, child minding, home maintenance.

Food and accommodation is offered in exchange for 4 1/2 hours work per day. Stays can be up to two weeks and you can arrive any day of the week. Your own transport is essential.

We live 25 minutes South of Te Puke, just 7 kms from the beach. We are one hour from Rotorua, 50 minutes from Tauranga and 35 minutes from Whakatane.

Separate, self contained accommodation is available which is clean and well maintained.

We enjoy fishing at the beach, good food and wine and meeting interesting people!

Hi There,

I am looking for 1-3 travellers to help with a variety of tasks in and outside my house.

I have 2 sons, Frankie 8 and Jobe 5 who you will be driving to school and helping them with various activities. Around the house there would be a small amount of cleaning but mainly just the general upkeep of the house.

Outside the house and on days when Frankie and Jobe are not here there is plenty of garden jobs to be done as we are in the middle of a large landscaping project. This would be suitable for a couple or friends travelling together. Accomodation provided would be in your own room with high speed unlimited wifi and use of a brand new shared bathroom. Breakfast and lunch provisions would be provided and most main evening meals to be cooked and shared together. The help I need would not be more than 4 hours per person per day but I am flexible if you want to arrange trips and go places on weekends etc.

We love the outdoors, playing sport especially football and... more inside

Looking for person or couple to help outdoors in the garden (nothing too taxing) in exchange for accommodation and (vegan) food. Would suit person who likes serenity, time to write, walks, kayaking. We live on a beautiful 1.8 Ha lifestyle property with expansive views overlooking Tauranga Harbour.

We are a family of 5, although the 21 and 19 year old sons only visit occasionally from university, and the 16 year old daughter is at boarding school and only home in the weekends. We have 2 cats.

Sharon's sister Trish and her partner Robert live in a separate cottage on the property with their dog Meg. Robert does a lot of work around the grounds and is the main supervisor of our HelpX workers.

Work would consist of helping Robert around the property, weeding (always, there is weeding!), gardening, pruning, cleaning and/or cooking. Perhaps also painting our red shed - once we purchase the paint :)

If you want a more physical challenge, you can act like a mountain goat and scramble through the tangle of vegetation on our steep bush clad hillside removing problem plants and clearing overgrown pathways.

Work would be 4 to 5 hours a day Monday to Friday - the tim... more inside

On our 7 hectare property we raise beef cattle, produce haylage, grow pine and gum trees for lumber and firewood.
We are a lifestyle farm with all the normal farming practises to be experienced from animal husbandry to fencing, fertiliser spreading, weed control, hay making, tractor work, firewood collection, nut tree maintenance in a pecan, hazel nut and chestnut grove.
We are able to offer all the facets of farming life through most seasons of the year, comfortable quiet accommodation in our two storey/five bedroom home and home cooked meals in exchange for four hours of your labour a day. We prefer to have helpers who are non smoking & are over 25years old. Because of where we are situated we are suited to those who have their own transport. We in return will showcase to you the best of Bay of Plenty!

We're in desperate need of a hand around the garden, it's really gotten out of control! No experience necessary, it will be mainly ripping stuff out and digging.

We live on a long skinny dairy farm with three sheds, nestled in against the Paeroa range in Waikite valley, which is about 30 min drive out of Rotorua (headed for taupo).

I can come and pick you up from town, and drop you back if you dont have a car.

Most providers get cell phone reception here and our closest shop is a 10 minute drive away.

We have A doc track coming off our farm, other beautiful walks near by, as well as natural and man made thermal hot pools. If your interested in hunting (small game or deer), there is also the opportunity here and of course we can show you around the farm and in the milking shed! There is also an area of geothermal activity on the border of our farm to visit.

We are a family of four with two young children, George and Lachie. We live in a four bedroom house and share ... more inside

I am a single lady who live on my own. I do run a Airbnb therefore i have some visitors staying now and then.
I have a little cottage set in bush and gardens. I am wanting someone who can help with the gardens and some outside maintenance in exchange for food and accommodation.
Lake Tarawera is 15km from Rotorua. I am close to many bush walks and montain bike tracks. The area is stuning and very peaceful.
Cheers Sandy
