This is an opportunity for people who like eating and cooking healthy (vegetarian) food, gardening and home renovating; mostly sanding, removing wallpaper and painting at the moment. We have traveled and spent time in other countries particularly Japan and Europe.(French,German and Japanese spoken) We both enjoy art, crafts and music.
Work would be 4-5 hours a day (independently) with 2 days off per week, food provided but must be willing to share cooking duties. We like to go walking locally and in the ranges, visitors are welcome to join us or do their own thing. Hawke's Bay is a beautiful and popular place to visit. Please not that we do not always have internet connection at the house.

This is a sheep and beef farm on the coast of Central Hawkes Bay. We are the sixth generation to farm here and while my husband is busy with the farm I am setting up a small flower farm around the homestead.
We have three children, all at primary school and pet dogs, a cat and horses and ponies.
I would love to host people who are happy to help me in the garden and house and don't mind the chaos of family life.
For 6 hours work a day accommodation is offered in the room pictured which has an on suite bathroom. All meals are included.
There will be opportunities to help on the farm if you want to and we have one of NZ's best beaches just two minutes down the road. A further five minutes down the road is the local pub and dairy.
Our home is 40 minutes from Waipukurau so your own transport is essential.
Please feel free to contact me if you want any more info.

We have a small farm that we use to raise rare breed cattle. We are also developing an organic food forest. We care for some beautiful old native bush that has glow worms. Our farm is part of our way of life but we have to work around our other lives as a primary school teacher (Karen) and an osteopath (Kim) Our daughter and her partner are now in their third year of selling fruit port and we may appreciate wwoofer help in the winey. We have lived on this farm for just on 10 years. Organic principals have always been a part of our lives. The farm is semi self sufficient and we eat mostly our own meat and vegies but find we run out of time to be tidy gardeners. We have a lovely home and you will have your own room with a queen sized bed.The type of work we want help with is varied; at present we are stripping and sanding the floors in the house, horticulture, help with the animals, firewood preparation, building renovation and maintenance. Also maybe help in the fruit winery, planting... more inside

Large sheep and beef station located 15 mins from Waipukarau (2 mins off State highway 2),and 1 hour from Napier. We love having people from overseas to stay as we have travelled extensively overseas also. We have a lovely separate fully furnished house for our woofers to live in. Woofers generally do half a day of helping on the farm/ in the garden in exchange for food and your own house. We encourage you to get involved on the farm to make the most of the experience with the animals and farm life in general.
This will suit 2 people or a couple.

WE ARE NOT HOSTING VOLUNTEERS AT THE MOMENT SORRY.

We have a very small family-owned and operated vineyard and winery 5km from Havelock North in the sunny Hawke's Bay. It's a beautiful place next to the Tukituki river: lots of trees, grass, native birds etc. There are bike / walking trails right next to the property, several other wineries nearby, and Ocean Beach is 15 minutes and Waimarama 25 minutes drive away.
We're pretty friendly and relaxed; we can only speak English fluently, but we don't care how much English you speak. We're not vegetarian (but you're welcome to cook vegetarian meals), we don't smoke, and we have some chickens; the neighbours have dogs, and our chickens have a cat.
I've done a fair bit of travelling, both within NZ and around the world, and we are always keen to meet new people and exchange culture, knowledge, recipes and conversation.

We are offering accommodation and food in exchange for 4 hours work a day. Depending on when you arrive it could be... more inside

We are located in the heart of beautiful Central Hawkes Bay. We are sheep and beef farmers with a large farm garden and converted Shearers Quarters. Sam is a 3rd generation farmer and we have three children aged 11, 8, and 6yrs. The farm is located 15mins from Porangahau beach and 25mins from Waipukurau.

We have recently renovated our house and have plenty of odd jobs that we need help with, mainly gardening, clearing out sheds, painting, planting and gardening jobs that will require a chainsaw. At certain times of the year there will also be an opportunity to get involved with the farm work too.

We have had woofers before and it has been a great experience. If the Shearers Quarters are available at the time of your stay, you have the opportunity to cook independently and we can house couples or groups. It is preferable if you have your own transport.
