We have a 10 acre lifestyle block. We are a young family of four with a cat, 20 sheep, ducks and a lot of native birds!
Our children are Tula (5 1/2 years) and Cohen (22 months)
We are looking for a motivated and friendly person(s) who i'snt afraid to help out wherever needed. This might include all general household chores as well as a bit of child-minding, depending on the weeks schedule. Outside tasks that need doing on our lifestyle block include weeding, planting, mulching, grubbing thistles, paddock weeds, wood stacking/moving etc.

We are happy to host helpers for short stays of about a week, and would prefer mature, practical-minded people with a few years life experience that can work happily and independently. Non-smokers only please. Good communication a must!

We have a very large house with ample space and offer a room with two single beds in it, offered in exchange for 5 hours work per person each day, however we can be flexible with this, ie work a full day... more inside

We are a happy go-lucky middle aged couple with a large house and two properties. We have three spare bedrooms, two with a shared bathroom and one with own ensuite.
One property is just up the road from "Kaitoke Regional Park" where 'Rivendell' is situated. There are many beautiful walks/tramps in this park.
On this property we have horses, pet sheep and chickens. There is also a dog and a cat in the mix.

Due to our location your own transport is preferable, although happy to drop off and pick-up from bus stop or train station.

We are looking for people to help us clean-up our new lifestyle block. Some work may be hard labour but there is also lighter work to be done.
Breakfast and lunch food provided - but please you must be happy to help yourself for those two meals! We cook the evening meal and would love you to join us for a wine or beer or whatever your preferred beveridge is prior to dinner.

We are looking for one or two people to help out my elderly parents in there beach-side residence.

Tasks would be range from assisting my spritely 85 yr old father, Dick, with chores throughout his extensive garden of beautiful native New Zealand trees and his flourishing vegetable/herb garden.
Along with sitting with my increasingly forgetful Mother, Beth, and assist in simple, pleasant tasks such as, making a batch of scones or perhaps completing that day's newspaper crossword.

We are a small boarding kennels that opened only in December 2014. But in the year we have been open we have got busier and busier and with Christmas fast approaching we need help! We are fully booked for Christmas and New Year and we require 1 or 2 people to help us. We have a sleepout for your accommodation and can provide all your food for you to cook (my skills aren't too great in that department) or you can eat with us. We're flexible on that one.
Work would involve cleaning out the kennels, playing with the dogs and some gardening. We would be looking at 5 hours a day, sometimes split into morning and evening.
It's important that you love dogs! but helps if you're eager to have a go at anything.

We are new to Help-ex so are on a bit of a trial period with it. We are still settling in to our new house and new rhythm so we ask that helpers are understanding of this!

Helpers can expect a lovely spacious and warm room looking out onto forest. Three meals a day, vegetarian, occasionally fish. All facilities are here; wifi, phone-line, bathroom, washing machine etc. We are working on an outside... more inside

My husband and I run a small bed and breakfast in Tawa, 10 minutes out of central Wellington. Both of us usually work full-time and neither of us are keen on gardening so unfortunately it gets out of hand on a regular basis. We are offering accommodation and meals in exchange for some serious help with the garden and general house maintenance.

If you are interested, have the skills we are looking for and are prepared to give us a hand with the jungle, make contact and we could discuss how it can work for both of us.

We have a large 5 bedroom house and you would have a private bedroom with a shared bathroom in a fun filled house.

We have a beautiful cocker spaniel Ollie and a cat called George, both are really friendly, so it is important that you like pets.

Tawa is easily accessible by car, bus and train and is a little bit of the country just 10 minutes out of the city.

Sound like you, well call me now and see if we have vacancies.
