Hi there,
Our place is a small sustainable vineyard & winery. We also have a flock of sheep, a truffle trees grove, a home vegetable garden & orchard, which are run organically. We are nestled on the south bank of the Awatere River, within walking distance from the beach. The location allows nature activities, walking, bird watching, fishing, bike rides, etc. We are located 15 km from Seddon, which is 20 minutes (drive) south of Blenheim. We can arrange pick-ups from Seddon. Activities vary depending on the time of year.
We are looking for some extra help during the second week of January: from the 11th to the 16th of January. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
Please tell us about you and send us a phone number we can contact you on.

Our 12.9 hectare property is 10km's from Renwick, and 4 km's from State Highway 6. It consists of exotic/native trees and shrubs; pasture; orchard; chicken runs; and vegetable plots. We started 9 years' ago planting predominantly heritage fruit and vegetables organically for sale at the local Farmers' Market. Over the years we have added animals to the property and today we have 3 steers, 3 goats, 2 pigs, 3 calves, 32 hens, 2 roosters, 3 lambs and 4 chicks.

From September until May we need assistance with spraying, compost making, weeding, mulching, sowing, planting, propagation, brush-cutting, animals, building tunnel houses, and picking produce for the local Farmers' Market.

Accommodation is a tidy caravan placed in our orchard a short distance from our house. Food will be supplied for breakfast, lunch and dinner with vegetables/fruit available from our gardens. Some meals will be shared with us. Your working day starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 1 p.m. with morning tea ... more inside
