We need two people travelling together who want to visit us on or after 23rd May for about a week.

We are a busy and active couple in our 60s, with Ziggy, our small/medium dog.

At the moment we need people who are prepared to do some light physical work moving soil and mulch in the garden, general house/garden maintenance, and looking after Ziggy when we are out. The work may also require a few practical skills, including the use of power tools.

The arrangement is to work about 4 hours a day but we can be flexible with how this happens. In exchange, we will provide food (self-serve breakfast & lunch), cooked meals to share (most nights), or food of your choice to cook if we are out.

We think it will be most suitable for two people travelling together and you will have your own room.

You will also have access to a bathroom, a lounge room with TV, and unlimited WiFi. We have a tennis court, a billiard/snooker/pool table, table football, and board games, which you are we... more inside

We live on a 5 acre rural block in Yapeen, Central Victoria. Yapeen is a great mix of quiet countryside within easy access to the historic goldfields and artistic hub of Castlemaine. We are owner builders and in the process of finishing a unique, off grid house. Our block has a diversity of native grasses, some large remnant trees, an abundance of reptiles and birds, resident frogs and visiting kangaroos.

We have lots of plans and are in need of extra hands to get things done, but also keen for good company and to learn from and teach others. Work we need help with is maintaining and improving the biodiversity on the block (weeding, native plant propagation, planting and watering revegetation patches and making wildlife habitat such as nesting boxes), house/shed building, animal fencing and gardening – we have an orchard and a large vegetable garden. We use organic methods only and implement permaculture concepts whenever possible.

Activities you can do in your time off includ... more inside

NOT LOOKING FOR HELP AT MOMENT

Cleaner for the B&B cottage and household cleaning and weeding is needed to make up around 20 hours per week. We are 50 minutes from Melbourne by train and 10 minutes drive to the top of Mt Dandenong and near Yarra Valley. I will need help with cleaning a single bed and breakfast cottage between 12 noon and 2pm. This includes making beds vacuuming and cleaning a spa and shower and restocking food supplies, etc. This is needed an average of 4 days per week which will include Saturday and Sunday most likely. Additionally I also want to start planting a veggie garden and general garden weeding and maintenance. I like a total of around 20 hours per week from each person and these jobs can be managed by one person. Other jobs to make up the hours could be cleaning the main house or other cleaning, maintenance or gardening jobs. For helpers with the right skills I also have large gardens and could accomplish planting out new garden beds, starting vegie ... more inside

We are an easy going couple with a large home that we share with our two small dogs. Rod runs an event management business from the property. We are looking for helpers to assist with general gardening duties, wood splitting, and other home maintenance chores. We have all the right equipment to complete the tasks.
We ask for 3 x 8 hour days in exchange for a seven-night stay including food and accommodation (private room and bathroom). On the other days you can enjoy our beautiful property with swimming pool and spa, travel around to see some great places nearby, or you can work extra for payment.
If you have special dietary needs I will provide ingredients and you can prepare your own. Our home is clean and comfortable.

I live in beautiful, East Gippsland, Victoria, in the small town of Swifts Creek, up in the Victorian Alps, kind of halfway between Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.
(Melbourne is 4 to 5 hours away by car, longer by bus. Canberra likewise. Sydney is about 8 by car, longer by bus.)
Swifts Creek is perched high in the Alps, and we get snow occasionally.... Autumn is lovely here. I love driving up to the mountain resorts and seeing the glorious views.
Swifts Creek is close to the mountains, national parks, walking and bike tracks, and caves. It truly is a glorious little place. We are driving distance to some other beautiful areas.
I can drive us to visit places, and there are some buses.
I moved here in early 2016, as local minister/priest/trained social worker/community development worker, but a large part of my work is as a comunity development worker in some remote mountainous villages ... Again, in beautiful country.
I appreciate travel companions. I frequently travel am... more inside

Picturesque small property with trees and pasture. We have a small flock of chickens, cat, dog and garden. We are not registered for organic status but follow the principles. We want to eat healthy food and grow as much as we can. Looking for help to establish and maintain garden and basic property maintenance. Building skills would be great if you have any as we are looking to complete the chicken run. Looking for 25 hours per week in exchange for food and board. We are only interested in helpers who can stay for two full weeks with us.
We are located not far from the Great Ocean Road and only 5 minutes from Warrnambool, a very convenient position. We are both easy going people who enjoy conversation and connecting with others.
We look for win/win situation for both our helpxers and ourselves.

We are an English speaking married couple who have been married for 47 years and have retired in sunny Mallacoota.
The photos below are the view from our front veranda. We have spectacular sunrises in the mornings.
We live in a neat and tidy home overlooking the beautiful Mallacoota lake. With the lake and ocean so close you can swim, surf, fish, take a slow walk or a longer hike. Local sports include bowls, golf, badminton, soccer, tennis and cricket.
Our home is within walking distance to town. Mallacoota is right within the Croajingalong National park, is on the east coast of Victoria and half way between Sydney and Melbourne. There is public transport between Melbourne and Batemans Bay and we are on this route. If you get off the main bus route at Genoa there is a local Mallacoota bus which will meet you there on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (at 9.00am coming from Batemans bay and 2.30pm from Melbourne) and this will bring you to our town bus stop where we will mee... more inside

We have renovated a luxurious historic homestead located on edge of Shepparton in Victoria which has some B&B accommodation. The garden is 2 hectares with forests, a lake and a sunken garden. It is used for weddings, garden tours, wedding receptions and small functions. It is located 180km north of Melbourne in the heart of the fruit and wine region of Victoria and 40 minutes from the mighty Murray River. To view photos of the property go to the website listed above and a video of the property on YouTube. Our garden was in the Australian open garden scheme for 20 years and is often used for charity events. It is very large to maintain in peak condition and we would love you to come and assist us with the garden and homestead maintenance. In particular our organic vegie garden becomes overgrown very quickly at times and we use the produce from this to feed our guests or make home made preserves, pickles and chutneys. Dependent on the time of year your stay could involve anything fro... more inside

We have a gorgeous old miner’s cottage in the heart of the picturesque spa region town of Daylesford. We have a big rambly garden with veggie beds, lawn, trampoline for the kids and old plum and nectarine trees (that gave bumper crops this year). We would love to share this beautiful part of the world with you.
