We live on a property in the Dandenong Ranges, which is 1 hour East of Melbourne city centre.

The house is close to public transport. The bus stop is a one minute walk from our house.

We are a short distance to: Yarra Valley wineries, Dandenong Ranges National Park, cafes, galleries, artisan bakeries, beaches, ski resorts, country, museums, hiking and mountain biking trails, public gardens. There is also a yoga studio at the bottom of our street which has several classes a week.

We love to have Helpers stay from all walks of life and help us maintain and beautify our house and garden.
We speak French at home to our daughter sometimes and encourage fellow French speakers.

When we have time, we enjoy showing our guests around the local areas or taking them collecting pure spring water at nearby Mount Donna Buang.

Each Helper works for 4+ hours per day for accommodation and food.
We cook most of the time for everyone but we expect the Helpers to also share the cook... more inside

We provide a perfect opportunity for riders who have established riding ability who desire to apply for a second year visa. As a rule we have about four or five horses being worked daily so there is plenty of work for those who are riders or enjoy working with horses and it provides a great opportunity to improve riding skills.

We have been training and breeding competition horses for over forty years and information about us is available on the web. For those that wish to review that information, Google search for our property name which is Northern Warmblood Stud, or Northern Warmbloods.

The property is approximately two and a half hours from Melbourne, a bus/train serves the local area from Melbourne. We have the full range of farm related duties that helpers can be involved in as well.

If you have further questions feel free to contact us on mobile 0488594000.

At the moment I am looking for someone to help our family with domestic chores - including a really thorough house clean and help with cooking etc

We are Sheryl, Warren and Harry (aged 9 years). Sheryl and Warren run their own business and Harry is in his 4th year at school. We are a friendly, fun and social family. We love spending time at our home when we can, gardening and playing board games. We enjoy sharing our home with travellers and exchanging cultural experiences.

We live in the beautiful Upper Yarra Valley region of Victoria with our golden retriever (Chelsea) and cats (Cheeky and Chooey). We have just over an acre of combined gardens and native bushland.

We have swimming holes at our doorstep, mountains surrounding us, many hiking tracks and world class wineries/restaurants nearby. We live in a warm and welcoming community.

We are 70kms from Melbourne city central. We travel into Melbourne frequently, which would present opportunities for lifts into the c... more inside

This is nestled in the foot hills of the Dandenong Ranges. We are currently developing a permaculture garden.

We are looking for travellers with skills working on a small farm, cleaning, weeding, odd jobs, carpentry skills a big plus, (for the tinyhouse project). We have a single room with private bathroom (nice and private). Also double room available, with shared bathroom. There is some public transport to get around, but it is limited. Your own transport is ideal.

Gorgeous surrounds, and at the foothills of the Dandenongs to go adventuring!

We are exploring sourdough bread making so anyone that can help/ with an interest is especially invited to apply and stay!

We are looking for a responsible couple to take care of our farm and animals throughout JULY. We would really like a couple that could stay for around 3 weeks. If you would like or need to stay longer please discuss with Jo. Our home is really beautiful and we have a lovely wood fire. Our only requirement through this time is taking care of the house and feeding animals, so it will be an easy and peaceful experience.

We dont have any other vacancies at the moment other than July. :)

*************************************************

Jo and her partner John live on a lovely 20 acre property which is located in Seville, Victoria.

John and Jo are both professionals who love the country life, good living and healthy eating.

We are both self employed and in our spare time love the outdoors, swimming in our dam, watching movies and enjoying a holistic approach to life. Jo has a number of horses and loves all animals.

Volunteer project Gippsland Victoria, Permaculture farm Eco Village

I want to create a community where people can live, grow their own food, do their own thing while looking after the environment and the community, be artistic and inventive, learn from each other and teach yet others again.
My permaculture farm, nature reserve and timber plantation is located 200km east of Melbourne in Gippsland,
The landscape is kind of like ‘lord of the rings’ story environment. It’s called a cold temperate rainforest. It is totally remote, stretching over several mountains and valleys with clean drinking water, native forest with massive centuries old trees (no pesticides ever been used to my knowledge). Cliffs, bridges, creeks, waterfalls, some old growth forest, fern trees, abundant wildlife etc. I guess you get the picture. We have a lot of rainfall so stuff never stops growing. But it gets cold in winter (regular frost overnight).
I want to find like minded people (there are three of u... more inside
